The devs either never played feral, actively hate the spec or just dont care about it and use leftover dev time to quickly throw stuff for them in the game randomly.
It’s their way of replacing pummeler. If they are going through with OG Feral that the community made work, why would they lock it behind us just now farming gold instead of pummeler? How do these people still have jobs.
Pretty expensive for a required consumable, no?

I've really enjoyed the feral playstyle in SoD, personally.
While this is quite possibly true, as someone who has mained druid in several expansions, often focusing on feral, and whose favorite arena spec of all time has consistently been feral (and who currently has a level 50 SoD druid, focusing mostly on feral DPS), I’ve really been enjoying the feral playstyle in SoD, and had avoided playing Druid in Classic previously.
My Wrath Classic main is druid.
idk yet really. As an ultra-casual I’ve made 250-500g per character that I’ve taken to 50 so far, just through leveling.

Feral playstyle in SoD is just Vanilla Feral except you now have to keep savage roar active at all times.
Our major ‘QoL’ change for pummeler is now gold farming. You can’t be seriously supporting this.
Because everyone got ~1000g for free
But a lot of us (Probably most of us) didn’t.
And thats why they should have rolled back the servers. Enjoy the inflated economy.
I have 30 gold at 43 right now. I guess if you dont abuse the system and try to enjoy leveling you are doing it wrong…
I’m pretty sure this has been greatly exaggerated, and it’s more like 250~350 additional gold (if you leveled through incursions before the gold nerf/rep buffs).
Yup. Pretty much. The developers actively promote the abuse of exploits and punish every single one of you regular players.
Inb4 someone argues the incorrect multplier on the quest reward was actually intended and they didnt really exploit it.
I actually have to not use Catnip in PvP since it cost 50silver a use lmao. They really are turning Feral into a gold farming simulator.

Im not going to say your wrong for liking this playstyle but it would be nice if the runes let you play effectively without savage roar. I was hoping for them to lean into jack of all trades, master of none and not into dollar general rogue with all the worst abilities required.
If you enjoy this, more power to you. I guess we’ll see if you are in the majority or minority as people either play feral or dont.

Then don’t use the consumable if you don’t want to spend the gold? Wonder how much dark runes are gonna cost paladins in order to be competitive…with the gold inflation from incursions, they probably gonna be like, 10g each or more considering how hard they are gonna be to get. There is lots of consumes which are gonna be a nightmare to get since 300 professions are in.
The consumable is exclusive to druids and only useful to Ferals. Sure I’d understand your logic if it was available to all Classes but it’s not. It is actually a mandatory DPS increase if you want to help your raid for Ferals. They would be way worse than every single DPS spec in the game without it.
And you have to keep doing it until the end of the time it’s not just some rune you just get one time.
Agreed. All classes should be able to buy it and get that attack speed increase.
Then have them do that. Do not make a consumable exclusive to Ferals and call it their balance for them to keep up with other classes/specs
