It’s a complicated relationship. Yes the titans have helped us in the past but they’ve also tried to nuke all life on the planet to keep one of their own alive. We were helped by them in Legion because our goals aligned. If our existence put a world soul in danger even accidentally however we’d likely get obliterated if they had the power.

Hmm Sort of. They already tried to blow up Azeroth when they detected some corruption. We had to beat some guardian dolls in Ulduar

I don’t think Blizzard hates the Titans.
Rather, they’re now attempting to delve further into aspects of the Titans that are more difficult to sympathize with. The Titans are massive cosmic beings whom are driven by order and logic. To them, wiping out all life on a planet to save a World Soul is a logical course.
They’ve never been good, but nor have they been evil. In a lot of ways, they haven’t yet been truly ruined by the new writers either. We even see a timeline where they emerge victorious, and according to them, that is NOT the, ‘True Timeline.’ So, clearly they operate outside of their own self-interests.

Literal masters of the universe. I never viewed them as friends or allies. They will aid when it suits them, and they absolutely destroy anything that goes against whatever their plans are. The whole destruction thing almost happened in Ulduar. Guessing with Azeroth being a titan herself, that she’s the only reason they haven’t destroyed the planet.
