I meet someone in arenas.
I try add them via Add Friend > “Name-Server” in battlenet.
and it keeps coming up with this bloody message every time.

Are they on the same realm or connected realm if there not its not possible only way is to add them as bnet friend.
I have no idea what a connected realm even means? Arn’t they all connected? I’m playing arenas with the guy…
Not all realms are conected im on blackhand and ur on barthilas if i tried to friend you It would show up as player not found.
Connected realms are realms that essentially function as one realm. Players from connected realms can trade items, gold, and join guilds together despite technically being on different servers.
It’s not the same as doing arena/LFR/LFD with players or even seeing players from other realms in the open world.
If they player in question isn’t on your realm (Barthilas isn’t connected to any) then you can’t friend their character. That’s only for same or connected realms.
But you can send them a battletag friend request, or Real ID if it’s someone you know outside the game.
That is so dumb, so I can play games with said person, I can go out in the world together, but I can’t add him without asking for his Battle-Tag? Height of intelligence this company…
Its been this way since the begining if you feel a change needs to be made feel free to post in general discussion or use the ingame suggestion feature This feature is also useful to keep those nast little cockroaches from transfering gold from stupid player that buy gold illegaly and get there account hacked and sent to all corners of azeroth.
Well I guess they could just go back to not being able to friend anyone who isn’t on your realm, the way it was before they added battle tag/Real ID…

Thats the thing its easy gold that doesnt have to go thru blizzar as long as theres cockroaches that operate a multibillion$ idustry and thats not a typo theres stupid players that will buy it.
In order to avoid advertising for them, I’ll just point you towards Google. You could probably use your imagination to figure out what to search for.
Lets just say the vast majority of users willingly buy gold that’s advertised cheaper for greater risk, rather than the more-secure, probably more expensive option.

Or you could use the in-game suggestion tool. Your choice. The point being, there are no devs, QA, GM’s or community managers in the Customer Support forum. This is simple a player help player forum. Hence why they mentioned posting suggestions in the general forum (where they are community managers, and it’s monitored by the devs).

That’s why you use the ingame suggestion tool.
Do what you will i know general isnt the ideal place but its a catch all for suggestions that dont fit in the other forums hence why i suggested the ingame suggestion.
