I am not against it, I want them because alliance has no good pally races, but it doesn’t make sense what most people say. They are not high elves no matter what you say. They are just less voidy void elves. Unless it says “Valinaar, high elf Hunter” you are a void elf. I think unless they add a shadow pally spec we should never have void elf paladins.
Why do you other people want them?
The same reason I want a forsaken paladin I presume.
Alliance has the original paladin races, and draenei which really aren’t that bad.
Real reason people want anything in this game is because they don’t have it. Has nothing to do with lore or even a desire to play it. They just want it and will throw a tantrum if they don’t get it.
You come here, with your DI Dwarves, with their sick heritage armor and sick pally mount, and you honestly believe what you have said? DID have some of the best aesthetics in the game, especially for paladins.
I don’t think people want specifically Void Elf Paladins. They want their fantasy of being an uncorrupted High Elf Paladin.
Which if the closest they can get is to head-canon a Void Elf as being not void, a lot of people will take that.
Blood elf Envy…its a real thing and has been for 12 years.

If the compromise is to let you play High Elves on Void Elves, they’re gonna make requests until they can play High Elves.
Why would you think a request that’s gone on for fifteen years would stop?

You could almost hear the “lamentation of the…er High elf fans” when BC released and Blood Elves were Horde and they got space goats
I played one, obviously. But they are Blood Elves, not High Elves.
I played Warcraft 3. Read the books. Know the difference.
So it was fine. There weren’t a ton of races back then.
Really it was the Allied Race system that kicked it into high gear.
The difference here is that Forsaken Paladins are acceptable within the lore, while Void Elf Paladins aren’t possible within the lore.
I was just thinking “Wait I swear i’ve run into forsaken paladins.” and now I want one even more.

I have a ton of Blood Elf alts…I just found in BFA that Dazaralor vs Boralus there was no contest on which was the better hub.

Don’t know why people want high elf paladins. They never existed. The first elf paladins were the blood elves who siphoned light from that Naaru.
I mean if you wanna be a high elf paladin fine, but there was no history of that before BC.
