Right…so THIS is something to complain about, for now, till its fixed.
This is legit if its not working right at all.
But some in here are tossing a fit about crap like the little dragon art was changed.
Im sorry but i cant take that kind of crap seriously and Im betting the devs are getting quite a chuckle out of it.

Because youve made it clear that its NOT the functionality of the UI that youre complaining about, but some irrelevent art change that in no way affects the functionality.

You, apparently, and the guy you’re conversing with kindly provided one for you. Good on him. Bad on you for dismissing people as unimportant because they’re les computer literate than you. The right thing to do would be to offer your expertise in navigating the new UI to help those that are not as expertly skilled with it as you are. Read on.
For those that can’t seem to get their UI to save:
First, activate the history in your windows clipboard.
Log into your character in WoW, set your UI the way you like it, export it to your clipboard.
Press the Windows + the V keys to bring up your clipboard. At this point, it might be a good idea to pin the exported UI in your clipboard. There should be some little dots on the right hand side of the exported UI in your clipboard that will give you the option to do so. This ensures that the exported UI does not get cleared from your clipboard history when you shut your computer off.
When next you log in, if your UI didn’t save when you logged out, you can import it from your clipboard.
For any other problems, you’ll have to find someone that is a bit better versed than I.

Too long didn’t read. If you aren’t computer literate, you shouldn’t be playing an MMORPG. It’s that simple.
Functional changes to the UI aren’t the only thing that you’re allowed to bring up for discussion on the forums. Graphical/design changes are a totally valid point of concern to bring up.

That’s fine and all, but I’m just trying to understand the discussion from those who are so vehemently against having an option to utilize the old UI for those who so wish to do so.

Muscle memory from 18 years of playing everything has always been in the same place.
I dont care about the new healthbars or tiny bags its everything else looking off i dont like. The map looks weird
the notification thing for mail and such is tiny in the corner is a bit annoying
Everything else is fine. My bags are still seprate the way they always were
The mini bar has color instead of this grey mess. I can easily tell what I am clicking in the old version.

I use Elvui. The issue is that now the talking head box is stuck in the middle of my screen. And nothing I do in blizzard UI or Elvui can remove it.
I am fine with a new UI. But what Blizzard delivered objectively made my experience worse.
Because it’s better, duh

see: certain vehicle models where the older versions are more reliable/indestructible/still on the road like 20-25 years later… while the “new” model years are plagued with problems, recalls, random electrical issues, cheap materials/build quality, etc lol
