I think this is getting you guys nowhere. Back on topic though, I personally just don’t like the new UI’s look isn’t really to my taste, and it has a lot of annoyances that I never had with the old UI, such as my bag slots overlapping my side bars, so now if I drag something on the rightmost side of my bags, I can’t actually move them to anywhere around that section of the bag because it just starts wanting to slot my items into the sidebars.
Ultimately with this new UI I’ve been finding little things more and more as I use it every day that just keeps getting on my nerves. The first time I went raiding and all the loot popups for rolling just kept going up and down, it’s very frustrating to deal with small things over and over and over.

Okay smart boy. Go back to your high IQ UI since you think you’re so intelligent? Enjoy barely looking at your cooldowns because they’re at the bottom of the screen. How does it feel wasting your time because you’re attached to the past?
Use an addon
Can’t waste my time, it isn’t an option anymore. That’s kinda the point and the problem.
I don’t mind though, I’ve always defaulted everything because I don’t need addons to live. And that’s the problem, there’s plenty of players that have never needed the hotbar addons and this change is only for those that did.

But why is it being pushed on the end user to use an addon for something that was never a problem? I don’t understand defending something like this.

Those are the same exact complaints about the old UI. People complained about why the user should have to use an addon for such a dated UI.
They fixed it.
People are whining.
See how nobody is happy?
I never wanted or needed to do any of those things. I played with the same ui since I started. New ui is a good thing for many people but it needs to be a choice. A simple toggle for “Use old ui” is all many of us are asking for. Something for everyone.

I fail to see how it got fixed when all you did was shift the problem from one subset of users to another. You’re still gonna have people complaining about addons regardless, and it should’ve never gotten to this in the first place had they just submitted the new UI together WITH the old UI still in place, and let the player decide and tinker with which they feel more comfortable.

Because I can actually see the icons, Particularly in the bag bar area and the little tiny things under it.
