Why do YOU play a warrior?

I played a Plot/Arms for just a moment in SL and even with convert, It was fine. I went NF too.

I played Arms in the past a bit too and that did I felt. I haven’t check at DF talent for Warrior, only because it double the size vs my hunter talents. lol.

Tanking. Leveling in dungeons wasn’t to hard. But I’ve done them a few times. It past that I worry. Even for casual content. You need know the right elite path and what boss are going to do. And if you don’t have bdm, you at a hard disadvantage.

Now that dragonflight is out are there any new warriors?

I have been trying to decide what class to play. This has been by far one of my favorite posts in the class forms lol

Obmi was my first WoW character, created back in 2007. He’s named after an infamous dwarf villain in Advanced Dungeons and Dragons G-3 The Halls of the Fire Giant King adventure module.

I play him because he is the most fun, I enjoy the simple but entertaining fury rotation. There is a lot of history with him and I like that too. Lastly, he’s a dwarf. The best race for a warrior

I understand that 100%…

I never touched melee until end of MoP when i was given a boost and i used it on a monk. After that i figured id try all tanks. Warrior hit home, but i still wanted to try demon hunter.

A week before emerald nightmare released i started leveling my warrior again and havent been able to play anything else.

I have a few 70s… but no matter how much i try to go back to a caster class… it never pans out and i go back to swinging my axes.

I play it for the sword and board theme, well in this case flail and board. Was always a paladi. Whatever game I played, and still dabble a bit as prot paladin, but just really prefer the smash-mouth style of smokin’ you in the face with my shield. I really wish prot was viable in pvp lesigh.

Because I don’t like the changes that happened to brewmaster and prot pally. Luckily fury spec is crazy fun to balance the snooze fest that is prot warr. The mobility is great, but I miss the utility of the other two classes.

It’s funny, because this is the reason I tended to stay away from Warrior. I thought the idea of no frills, just kills was kinda boring from a fantasy stand point. And yet, every time I play other characters, then come back to warrior, the warrior is the one that seems to make me smile the most.

Interesting question as this guy is my first warrior since vanilla release. I’m not sure why I didn’t play one before, and stuck to hunters, but I’m enjoying it immensely. However, I wanted to try something different. Basically, I like the barbarian fantasy, so fury warrior it was.

I play warrior because when I first started playing world of warcraft I was 11 years, I had just watched the movie Troy the night before, this was in 2005.

I don’t even have the same account anymore but everyone time i end up getting a new one, my first character is always a human warrior named whichever variation of Achilles that I’m able to get. Lol

Warrior has a sort of purity to it, where the game play is nothing fancy, very effective and streamlined. I basically play warrior in every game I play just to see what spin they can give to a very simple class and concept.

They nerfed fury to the ground, so I don’t know why I still play warrior.
