First Arueshalae and now Tyranny. You, sir, have great taste in CRPGs
I just like the troll aesthetic generally and like to root for the underdog. Also Zulājin is pretty cool.
Tyranny is fantastic but its ending is the most horrific blueballing any RPG has every given me.
God, aināt that the truth. The game ended so suddenly I had whiplash.
āOhā¦ Thatās it? It justā¦ ends? Okay I guessā
Now Iām cautiously looking at Dragon Age Veilguard
Having faith in a Bioware game in 2024? Brave soul.
Key word being CAUTIOUSLY
I wonāt believe it till I see it
I already pre ordered Veil Guard. 10 years is way too much wait time in my opinion. Elder Scrolls will be even worse. It might kill the whole franchise.
Bethesda not using an engine older than a country to make a game for 2050 Challenge (impossible)
I bought starfield and I bought andromeda.
I will never buy another game from either studio again after those terrible experiences.
I would buy it if we go either Summerset or Elswyr but it seems it is a return to Daggerfall(Highrock.
No kidding. Paradox sucks for not marketting the game at all and then just sitting on the rights for the sequel because of bad sales.
Same. I was all excited when I saw there were buildable bases and logistical stuff to set up, then was heavily disappointed when I found out literally none of it mattered and it was poorly shoved into the game so they could build hype off it.
Iām a big nerd for crpgs and learned from the game by āword of mouthā (reddit thread in the Kingmaker sub) instead of any actual marketing. Itās wild to me.
I had 0 hype for Starfield since day 1. Sure Iām more of a fantasy rather than sci-fi type of person, but I still enjoy sci-fi a lot. Had zero hype because I knew its a Bethesda game and it was going to be a hot mess at launch to be fixed months later by modmakers. Iām really sorry for actual fans, though.
Itās amusing that Starfield gets all the hate and yet everyone ignores the mention of Andromeda.
I expected starfield to be subpar but Andromeda was an absolute fanbase betrayal
after the patches Andromeda was playable. I enjoyed it.
For me, thats because I didnt play andromeda.
I love almost everything about Tyranny (with the expansion that is) except the Elder Scrolls ālevel skills you useā introduces weird bugs to benched companions (especially with retraining) and Sirin should auto-learn all songs, not just the ones she qualifies for when you pick her up >.<
Also theyāre not kidding about the neutral path being the murderhobo path in this one, like yes you clear all the curses but also thereās like 0 story content beyond the archon of shadows stuff.
I like and dislike the custom spell system. Way too exploitable and good compared to literally anything else, and made Lore the end all be all skill. But its still a lot of fun.
I do like that half the people Iāve talked to about the game didnāt realize that the Disfavored were no better than the Chorus and thought they were the āgood guysā because they were less chaotic and more ācivilizedā despite being raging fascists. Seems like thatās a trend in some fantasy setting discussions, huh?
Which is weird as almost literally every choice for the disfavored during the story path is basically that every problem is to be solved with mass executions.
Iām also glad the rebel path actually takes set up and is like very much not obvious until youāve tested how much freedom, exactly, you have with act 1 (fun thing, you can actually delay the edict by a week to give yourself a whole year)
Boy everything is just going tots up for your hopes about this game right now, isnt it
Oh god did they post something that bricks the whole fun of it?
