2pc set bonuses are now based on ur role and not ur spec.
So all rogue specs share a 2pc. But pallie gets a different one for each spec?
Idk the purpose of this.

Uh, no? All tier sets are based on your spec.
For the next tier
Edit
Oh, they’re experimenting again.
It might not be so bad. Role based bonuses might be a good opportunity to shore up weaker aspects of the class toolkit. Though for pure DPS classes, it does seem like it could be a bit boring.
Eww.
So Arms and Fury will have the same 2pc bonus? Gross
Can make the 4 pc bonus more interesting than just ‘now you get 3 resource instead of 2’
2pc rounds out role requirements evenly for everyone, spec bonus gives interesting powerboost per spec. Seems an interesting experiment
Good. I hope 4 set is the same. I’m tired of being forced into specific talent points I don’t want to take for tier.
Well the problem is that some specs with the same role are completely different like ele and enh sham. Both share similar abilities but the only one that is really used the same way is flame shock.
This just means 2pc will be very generic since it’s covering dps, heal, tank across multiple classes.
Only 4pc will be unique to each spec. Feels kinda lazy.
I suppose balancing three 2pc tier set bonuses is easier than balancing 39 2pc tier set bonuses…
would your rogue want a 2pc that increases your healing or survivability?
Realistically, dps roles are almost exclusively going to get a resource power. Which is ok, it’s just not exciting.
The 4p is where its going to make or break the set.
People literally have been asking for this. Because like me, some are tired of being forced into specific talents.
This isn’t “lazy.” This is going off of feedback. And isn’t the first time tier had more generic bonuses.
Oh this is lame.
So the 2pc is always going to be +% Damage Done, basically. Booooring.
The dread that slithered up my spine just reading that, after seeing how they experimented with M+.
Huh? Do rogues have those in the current system? I think you are misunderstanding what this is.
I think making tier sets agnostic of your choice in hero talents is a good thing.
Feedback of the few? Sure.
Essentially you don’t want tier sets.
They already are.
Yes, I know, hence why I said it is a good thing.
Feels lazy to me, if you feel differently that’s cool.
