But their opinion is based off of emotion. My point is that facts of the actual situation show it’s not a “crap decision.”
They can feel how they wish. I never said otherwise. But there needs to be better understanding of what this QoL update actually is.

You seem to think I dont understand the why. I do.
Yes its based on emotion - I play games for the feelings of fun and joy and this feels the opposite of that and detracts from that. How it feels for something that’s entire purpose is to give people positive feelings matters.
I get their goal, I completely understand it.
I dont like it and it feels bad and would love it to not be this way.
If the thing designed for fun does something that feels the opposite of fun then that thing was bad in my personal opinion. Maybe you have a different opinion, cool, thats fine.

Whats funny is people are laminating this mount when you can still go back and get the staff but almost nobody talked about the black bug mount when they only gave the updated model to people that already have that mount that was only available once in wow history per server.

Assuming that your main character doesn’t have the staff, that is the reason. How would your main put Tarecgosa to rest when her soul wasn’t fused with yours?
