So far 2 horde leaders have become raid bosses, Garrosh and Banshee. What about the alliance guys? Why isn’t tyrande going rogue with all her elune power?
Because the Alliance is civilized. At least, the Elves are.

It’s because they all go Wesker and say " I told you, I was the only worthy one."
Well what are they going to do, go hunter?
Rofl, yeah, right.
Tyrande is starting to go Rogue
I won’t be surprised if she ends up a raid boss in the future
When Thrall left as warchief, he placed a powerful curse upon the position. So any character that obtains the mantle of warchief meets their demise, whether through madness or death (and sometimes both).
Well, Garrosh was always a tad too militant, and Vol’jin was tricked into making Sylvanas his successor, so, it was inevitable?
And then we have to fight a monster tyrant with a rocket launcher and escape in a helicopter.
Because the writers needed a bad guy and the Alliance leaders are all the same person.
I mean, Jaina and Mekkatorque were both raid bosses. So was Arthas. Illidan too. Also Azshara.
It’s not just the Horde leaders.
Even Yrel, even though not a raid boss has turned into a “Charlie Chaplin mustache guy” of the light.
Well after her 2 minutes in the spot light during the battle to reclaim DS, the writers forgot she even existed and could only reference here in passing lines of text. So being an avatar for Elune only maters if the writers are interested in your story line.
Hopefully they don’t pull another Legion scenario and make her the butt of another joke quest line.
Azshara and Illidan were never part of the Alliance.
Fixed for giggles and personal biases.
(gives Shudder a cookie)
No, but they were leaders of one of the biggest Alliance races.
*Shudder takes cookie and puts it in his pocket
I was being hyperbolic honestly. The Alliance leaders do have some variance these days but it usually goes no where. I’d like to see it go somewhere for once.
Lets lump in Kil’jaedan and Archimonde too then. They are Eredar like myself and Prophet Velen.
Give it time.
All Tyrande needs is blood and opportunity.
You’re not wrong. Same with Kael’thas for The Horde.
Could that place be Starbucks and/or McDonalds? I am so needing more caffeine and an egg mcmuffin.
I agree though, most Alliance leaders well… the story lines just sort of peter out. Or they end up neutral and endlessly annoying (yes, Magni I am looking directly at you).
Kael’thas was part of the Alliance though. When he was younger. Before he followed Illidan
Tyrande going rogue would feel a little different, though. Because she had valid motives to not forgive.
Sylvanas and Garrosh’s motives had more to do with weird stuff and abusing blind loyalty of being a Warchief.
I think these guys were used for more Horde development (Orcish development, imo. As the entire BFA side of the Horde was Saurfang reflectind on the Horde with things only the Orcs did.)
