Why do so many horde leaders go rogue

You’re right. Blood Elves were originally part of The Alliance. But when Kael’thas started following Illidan his people were part of the Horde and he was still technically their leader despite lor’themar taking over.

No, the Blood Elves who joined the Horde had cut ties with Kael’thas’ group because those elves were part of the Legion and lost to madness. Lorthemar stepped in as regent lord because there was no monarch anymore. Also possible that Kael’ thas was never actually crowned king.

Kael’thas, being a Sunstrider had monarch rule over his people, whether they wanted to be ruled by him or not. Despite them saying “we want this dude to lead us and not you”. As long as he was alive, he had rule over his people who lived in his country.

It’s like a neighborhood in Westminster England saying “Queen Elizabeth, you’re not our leader anymore; Phil is. But we’re not only going to continue to live in your country, but also your city.”

It just doesn’t work that way. Lol

The situation is more like Queen Elizabeth joining forces with Satan while the British people said no and rebelled. The whole sunwell raid and the Shattered Sun faction was a rebellion against Kael’thas and the Burning Legion.

No, it’s the same reason why there’s only a Meg Episode once every 2 seasons on Family Guy. The writers don’t know how to write for the Alliance, so even when something that should be Alliance focused, like reacting to the burning of Teldrassil, it’s writing becomes focused instead on Horde characters like Saurfang, Sylvanas, and Baine. Just like how even when you DO see a Meg episode on Family Guy the focus is usually on other characters such as Chris, Peter, or Quagmire.

Horde is easier for them to write and it’s ‘‘usually’’ always been that alliance were the goodie to-shoes while the Horde were the edgy clan who almost always had something happen.

I thought thrall was a shaman, garrosh was a warrior, vol’jin was a shadow hunter and sylvanas a dark ranger, so i dont know what you mean, there hasn’t been a single warchief that was a rogue. :joy:
