Unhealthy attachment is real.
Utilizing this game to give your life meaning is real.
Sunk-cost fallacy is real.
We all laugh and joke, and troll, and go onā¦ but there is a real underlying set of people that cannot let go of the game, no matter how much they hate the game or themselves.
We all just collectively pretend we can quit anytime we want.
Most of us can, but manyā¦ and I mean MANY, canāt.
Itās a weird new-ish thing that people havenāt had to deal with before. There arenāt many 20-year long āstill pushing new contentā games out there. And those that existā¦ yeah they have those people that are plugged into the matrix canāt let go.
