Why do people still Play Wow?

Just curious why so many people still play this game its ok but not the best out their by any means and never will be…

Oh and I have not been playing for a few weeks that burned out and bored with game.

How do you go about cancelling a subscription ? I been playing Since August… ended up getting Boat combo big mistake…

But I played so much my eyes fell out of my head… And I went Blind from shear amount of hours I put into game.

Anyways got my moneys worth… I am thinking of cancelling sub as I am having a very hard time imagining myself coming back to Game after playing for 6 months straight.

Problem with that sentence is that it is contradictory. People play WoW to play an MMO, right now, WoW is the best MMO. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just delusional.

Because the level of time investment creates an emotional attachment to characters. That’s why the community spazzes out so much at nerfs.

Right now?
Winter arrived. Can hang out with friends & family without driving in this insane weather.
Cheap $15/mo per person entertainment (2-3 of us in this house play WoW)
Still find aspects of it fun, not bored or burned out atm.

Why did you play, OP?

I played cuz I enjoyed game massively but became disillusioned with BFA as a whole… and I played From August 2018- all the way to start of Feburary non stop playing…

But I gotten my moneys worth even thought my Sub wont end till April 19th I put far more hours then what I paid for the boat sub combo…

So if I dont ever login again then its fine with me.

I play because I love my hunter and I deeply miss how much fun I had with MM. I hold out hope that he’s coming back someday, but it’s not looking good.

Its pros outweigh its cons (for me). It’s a really cheap form of entertainment. I have a lot of time invested in it. By the way, what game is the best out there that people would want to play if not WoW?

Maybe I’m just set in my ways, but so far there is not an MMO that I’ve tried that made me want to switch. I’m sure I haven’t tried most of them, but that’s just where I am at.

You may want to go into your settings on your account (points at top right corner of screen) and go to your account, to subscriptions, and cancel. Because if you bought that 6month sub for the boat, that might be what your sub is set at, meaning they will take another 6mo sub out of your credit/debit when this one is up. (Auto renewal)

Are you assuming that if someone plays WOW, they can’t play other games?

I play WOW because I still enjoy it. At $12.99 a month, it is less than I spend on coffee every three days. I also play games from other companies. Even a few on my phone.

Thank you for this warining I do not want to pay Blizzard any more Money especially not another 6 months especially after they fired my favorite Admin on this site Ythisens and so many others.

I cant support this bad business practice… Last Blizzard game I will ever purchase is Warcraft 3 reforged cuz I really want an updated version of game.
