Why do people still Play Wow?

I challenge you to find something with the amount of things open to you for 15 bucks a month. If you don’t like it I understand and wish you best of luck, but only spending half a year in WoW I seriously doubt you have really seen everything it has to offer. Either way, happy Friday OP.

Haven I played this game 2008-2012 I joined when Lich king came out… I had so much fun then quit in 2012 cuz I thought Pandas were dumb…

I then came back August after long break… But in a short span of 6 months I lost interest in this game WOW is not as good as it use to be quite easy to tell that since first time around played for 4 years vs 6 months.

You’re welcome. I was caught years ago by another MMORPG sub game and auto renewal on a yearly sub. I’ve never forgotten that lesson since :unamused: It was a tad painful.

Because they like it?

Friends?

Nostalgia?

Bored af?

All good reasons.

Because they like the game. Thought that was obvious, lul.

Another reason besides burn out I stopped playing cuz my guilds all died and my friends stopped playing…

And every time I attempted to join a guild they all went inactive shortly afterwards.

It’s an exceptionally good game with a lot of depth and complexity. I keep trying other MMOs but instinctively contrast them with WoW and the competitors always come up short. Besides, I’ve put so much time into understanding WoW’s systems that I don’t have the energy to start from scratch in a new game, especially if that game has been running for years and I feel inferior to everyone else.

I’m currently playing because leveling a pair of monks one MW on BM is too fun. MW PvP might be the thing to keep me playing for a little while again.

Not really sure why I play the game to be honest. I genuinely feel like BfA is a boring mess and Blizzards band-aid solutions aren’t going to fix it. The next expansion might be okay but that’s at least a year and a half away, so how does that do me any good?

My server or server grouping is almost always dead, and with that trying to do anything in an MMO becomes a second job. Spending more time to find a group for M+ than the M+ actually takes to do is not good for the player.

Beyond that I think Blizzard has exhausted all of their good talent, and run through all of their good ideas. On top of that with all of the firings, I just don’t feel like Blizzard is a great company to support.

Blizzard used to set the trends and now they don’t, so their time is realistically ending. It’s just like Walmart and Amazon. Walmart set the standards for the industry, it was where innovation happened, and then Amazon came along and now Walmart is trying to follow their trends and they’re failing at it. Even big dinosaurs eventually die.

Waiting for them to go everything is a hunter weapon don’t you have swords

For some reason Waid I read that as

Waiting for them to give every Hunter a Bow from Walmart since they dont carry swords.

They’re not quitting they’re being fired. Blizzard downsizing the player-base just like their staff.

Because they like it.

Why do you care that they do? Go play your other games and never post again. These contstant attempts by people trying to get others to join them in their presumed “better games” are insipid.
