Well, no. You are describing yourself, again, because you are uncomfortable with people not liking the writing in WoW. We aren’t here in bad faith.
You on the other hand keep doing everything you condemn. Why not be more honest and consider that there’s room for improvement? It’s okay to do that, it won’t kill you lol.

I’m not uncomfortable, in fact, I quite literally pointed out the fact that people have been criticising the story heavily over the past few years. All you are doing is spinning around, levelling your assumptions onto people, and turning the argument on its head because you can’t take accountability.
If I am then so are you. At least I hope for improvement. Not sure what I’m even supposed to be taking accountability for. You’ve kind of lost it with the mental gymnastics and copes, honestly.
They should consider hiring real writers. It might help.

I’m pretty sure most people agree the story isn’t good. But there’s enough there that’s almost good and with the game’s legacy people want it to be, and that’s why it’s discussed so much

Yea, you’re right on a lot, I can’t say I read your whole post because I’m at work.
Some of the things you mentioned are Blizz taking a lazy approach with the best they can do with video game limitations that they’ve set for themselves that other companies don’t deal with, so I kinda get why those things are happening, like Jaina and Thrall.
But I’m really surprised that even in this wall of text no one has mentioned the Magni death beat. Ok so you played a sneaky with Khadgar, hyuk, hyuk. Then you just,… do it again with Magni…? That’s just such lazy writing- like you thought it was so impressive with Khadgar it was worth doing again in the same preface to the xpac? 
Basically it was a perfectly well written spot for Magni to die, and blizz knew that. Then they bunged it up like virtually every story beat they’ve done in 5+ years at least.
It just goes to show how uninspired and accustomed to low standards Blizz has conditioned it’s uh, “loyal customers”. Y’all really gave the preface story 9/10 and it’s not good at all by any writer’s craft or scholar’s metric And that’s what is suppose to be saving this game that’s hemorrhaging subs

Why did Azeroth strip Magni of his clothes?
I think it could be good. They spend a lot of money on artists, developers etc but never invest much in the writing for some reason.
Not only that but because of how short the campaign is you literally get Khadgar, Baelgrim, and Magni all in like 4 hours of playing back to back to back. They never let the things that need it room to breathe but they’re super heavy handed with the slog that is mopey characters never getting over the hump

yea, that reminds me, Baelgrim death was a bad storytelling beat, and Magni living in that moment was even worse.

People are theorising that we gonna to Undermine, the lost goblin city, on 11.1 patch and to Karesh, the planet of the Ethereals, on 11.2 patch.
I thought they shouldve combined Magni and Baelgrim. If they were not going to kill Magni have him be the one to use Azeroths gift on Baelgrim as Baelgrim can still have his death wish.
That way you actually give the sacrifice a worthy pay off. Saving the machine. Instead of the dumb way he died.
And then because WoW cant help themselves with trauma they could have Magni fight with returning to normal but the fact that he pretty much just sent someone to die
