Good one, you choose what is needed and what isnt by whatever metric your little peanut deems important.
Reputation is needed, recipes are locked behind it…flying may be as well.
Daily maw…yeah, I suppose torghast upgrades arent needed to get through twisted corridors , or for faster travel through the maw or for adding 6 sockets to your gear.
Anima fuels your mission table (soul ash) , makes travel faster, unlocks lore
Its all needed guy. You can say it isnt and ignore doing it, but it makes you stronger in combat or speeds your travel time making everything faster.
The ability to fly does not directly grant power. All of the content that drops gear worth having is hidden away in places where you have never been allowed fly.
If you’re going to backpedal and say “Well, you can arrive at those places faster”, let’s just stop being disingenuous. Most players will sit in the major city and wait for a summon. The ability to fly did not help them gain power.
And it’s only one of the three things you have to do just for Renown, which itself is not all you have to do.
Make better arguments. The fact that chose to respond to 72 people doesn’t lower the expectation that your responses be good.
With enchanting being needed for legendary crafting, and enchanting being locked behind the need for Eternal Crystals that can only be gained from unwanted epic Mythic+ and raid gear, in an expansion where there are no other options to gain the mats to even level the profession aside from the occasional world quest… I’d argue that to make decent gold out of the only things professions make worth selling (legendaries) DOES require “hardcore” activity.
World quests that rewarded actual character gear progression, for one. Especially great for alts. Removed in Shadowlands.
It’s not grindy. Most of the “things to do” don’t actually matter and gear progression, which does matter, is gated to weekly chests/weekly raids. M+ loot doesn’t reward ilvl or volume relevant to effort required. IMO there isn’t a lot of incentive to login on a daily basis once you’ve done your weekly.
Well instead of using the “it’s just temporary” excuse to dismiss people’s complaints or criticisms, maybe you could ask why people are complaining about what they dislike about that 2 minutes of run time to a WQ or a dungeon?
So you aggree it grants power regardless.
Good you destroyed your own arguments.
I am sorry but its literally a quick quest, a 10 minute walk destroying stones and collecting souls and a 2 hours tops(if you are really bad) weekly grind. Thats all.
Calling are pretty gast regardless, so are heroic dgs where renown also drops when you are catching up. Then again ya catching up requires more time because it is a catch up. No issue with that.
You should follow your own advice.
I just read the entire thread… it is quite short, sorry but you are not special nor made any descent point aside pure relativism soo far and even contradictory statements, Btw your attitude is terrible lol not needed either. Stop pretending you are smarter than everybody,
I am used to take conversations with groups so answering text from 6 people(must be a big number to impress you that much) isnt a big deal.
Do pvp, upgrade pvp gear to rank 5, disenchant it. Thats the major reason the mat dropped a lot in price. You can get a lot of mats spamming epic bgs.
I got my 187 trinket from a world quest. I still use it, there is a lot of 171 rewards too. I am sorry but i dont remeber world quests giving descent ilvl items till late patches aside 8.3, you will prolly have 184 rewards by the end of 9.0.
Then again even in BfA or Legion their rewards were really poor compared to any other content.
In SL rn your fresh alt can just level up renown throughout the week and it will have almost full convenant gear which can be upgraded to 200 ilvl if im not mistaken and is quite descent for an alt. And most important its not behind RNG such as WQs, i think it is an improvement overall.
As always. But none demand exalted or had a rep that required another rep to level up. Overall its an improvement.
its for +6 gems, they are hardly game changing. Will give you 2% crit/haste/vers, thats not a a big upgrade.
It is not though. The soul ash reward for tables instance will take over 11 weeks(if you beat them all the time) to give you a legendary by its own. By that time you literally have all BiS leggos upgraded no matter the class.
Truth i dont consider questing in SL worthwile content but i think classic questing pace is really good, if you enjoy such a pace and thats important for you then you will def dont like retail at all.
M+ caches drops aren’t 100%? i literally did m+ and got it in the first runs of each dg. I did run 20 normals to get unhinged though.
Then he doesn’t need to believe you and can just assume your lying. If your gonna make a statement like that, you need to back it up with citations either before or when you’re asked. Saying “i don’t need to cite crap” isn’t a good look for you. Let alone the fact that a random somebody like me went ahead and do what you refused to do; cite your sources.
What raid? CN mythic? Relax they did beat them whitout it.
However it is truth you have a point it will be deemed mandatory next raid tier
It is also truth the dude he is talking to will ask you a source proving the all time lown subs is due flying.
By that PoV it is true, thing is soo far the character power upgrades are behind renows, and renows upgrade only need 1k anima which only requires a small amount of time to get done.
getting the covenant set to 196 ilvl costs anima as well.
But… even if the power part is completely out of the equation, doesn’t change the fact that anima IS grindy. Getting 35 anima per activity is idiotic when everything costs thousands.
