I’m willing to bet the reason is 100% financial reasons. Big companies don’t care about people more than they do money.
The ignore button is right in the menu. I love seeing you M+ people get upset at the fact that a very large portion of the player base hates that content and wants it booted from the game.
There is a lot of players like Hpellipsis and you that basically turned this virtual fantasy world back into a database.
Hearing you say this just reminds me of how much the player base has changed since I first started playing when I was 18. But putting personal opinions aside, even if you were right and Blizzard did it your way, the game you’re advocating for wouldn’t last long. People would endlessly try to find someone to sue or blame the company for not implementing enough safeguards.
Take the real world, for example—if someone breaks into your home and gets hurt, you’re the one who might get in trouble. They no longer care about the “why,” just that a person got hurt. The same principle applies here. Without these systems in place, the focus would quickly shift from personal responsibility to blaming Blizzard for not preventing issues that arise. And trust me, there are other reasons I can’t even mention here because my post would get flagged and deleted like it did in another post.
Lol.
You think I sit there and crunch numbers and have spreadsheets? I just wing everything. I just want content that requires me to put in effort. 99% of WoW is horribly braindead easy, especially under the new leadership, and it’s not fun for me. I want hard content.
Bro, you need to enter the real world. Things do not work this way unless you’re in dictatorial China.
because it is a race. there way too many dps players and if you want to play at high level you have to stay in top 5% or you wont find groups. because no one plays tanks and healers.
People want meta in there groups, They want you overgeared, they want you have High IO. If you try to play the game from behind you wont have a good time.
when you dont play minmaxing you end up with 30minute to 2 hours queues. its just not enjoyable variation of the game. its sitting in town not being able to find groups
I play the most non-meta healer (hpal) in the game, I have zero issue finding groups.
When I played my fire mage for a bit, I had no issue finding groups.
People are massively exaggerating.
