Other than RP Realms, most people I know roll Tauren for Warstomp, and nothing else. It’s one of the best PVP racials, and tauren druids can set up their own cyclones. They’re not concerned with the aesthetics.
So you are sexually harassing people playing tauren and wondering why they are mad at you? Am I understanding?

BIIIG TRUE! I have almost every tuaren and highmountain class at at least 50. And thats because sometimes i cant decide between war stomp and bull rush for a class
Edit: inthink highmounts should be able to be warlocks. There would be Blood totems still left that wouodnt have completely succumbed to the legion yet use fel.
Although i dont like taurens or highmountains not being rogues, i get them not being a big enough part of their culture to be represented by the players

Like if you went into a Walmart and complimented someone on their outfit they’d probably look at you and fart.
All I play is male Tauren (and now Highmountain) and it’s been that way since I started in 2007 or so. If they weren’t in the game I probably wouldn’t play in all honesty. I keep hoping someday we’ll get a Grimtotem defectors allied race so we can finally get Tauren Rogue, Mages and Warlocks.

I think a lot of people do it either as a joke or for purely stat reasons - and if its the latter I doubt they care much for the culture itself.
You’re right though. They are lovely creatures and I’d love to get to know one.

I don’t think this is an issue with Baine, specifically. It felt to me like every single character in Sylvanas’ periphery was handed the idiot ball so that she could do the things she needed to without question. Once they had happened, and got the plot going, then everyone suddenly grew a conscience and started questioning things.
It’s not so much a character flaw for Baine as it is the writers scrambling to fit things together.

Theres nothing annoying about it. But I would say just because they dont respond to your whispers doesnt mean they dont appreciate their tauren.

For some reason, being a cow never interested me much. A moose on the other hand? A Bull Moose? I’m thoroughly enjoying it. If I had to rank other player attitudes based on race, then Tauren players definitely have the best attitudes. Must be the RP server, I’ve yet to meet a rude one.
I don’t have a Tauren they just aren’t my favorite race for playing but I appreciate them and love them lore wise! They tough and strong brave ferocious warriors while at the same time big lovable teddy bears

Most people not playing on RP realms generally do not pick their race because it’s what they like… wow’s too much of a simcraft min-max game anymore no one picks stuff for look, lore or style, it’s all about squeezing out that .002% advantage, so that they can then complain they have nothing to do.
Nah, I gots to be my big beefy bois. I honestly get bored when I play a different race. It can be fun at first to play a new class, but eventually I stop caring. Its cool being able to pick between War Stomp and Bull rush. And feels really weird not having an on demand stun for some classes since Ive been playing since vanilla and just used to having war stomp.
Personally, I’m all for kink shaming.
A) I don’t care what you do as long as it is legal, but if it is something weird as all hell and you are choosing to share it with the whole world then I’m gonna judge you for it.
B) I’ve seen the kinds of things trying to piggyback in to ‘acceptable’ with this whole new ‘I’m modern so no kink shaming please’. Things involving nappies, very very young looking drawings etc.
Nope. No.
And I HATE how ‘kink’ is being linked to LGBT now. We spent years getting away from that stereotyping.
