I mean we do this today in America. We strip the rights from convicts and for-profit prison system allows them to work for literal pennies if anything at all.

The US prison system is unjustifiable and Micah/Zerde have used the terrible things that happen therein to excuse imprisoning and enslaving an entire race: man, woman, and child.

Furthermore, it’s not just “terrible things they’ve done.” It’s as long as you’ve been incarcerated where it’s a lot worse in certain countries. I think the USA is one of them. It’s a very complex issue that goes into things like systemic racism, generational poverty, lack of education, poor work opportunities and poor social mobility.

This is inaccurate.
The goal was never to reform, it was to imprison them for life. That was the official policy decided by the Alliance. When it came time to decide what to do about the Orcs, King Terenas believed that the bloodlust would leave them. Antonidas wanted to study them, and leaders like Genn Greymane and Thoras Trollbane wanted to have them all executed. There was a great deal of argument about the issue, but it was ultimately agreed on that they would be imprisoned for life within internment camps built in Lordaeron.

Which is better than the orcs deserved for genocide. Let’s remember, the Horde was on a campaign of extermination and genocide when they first came out of the portal. What do we do with those who commit genocide? Hang them.
Considering the low morality of some alliance avatars here it seems the Orcs actually winning their wars would have been the better outcome.
When Erevien is making more logical sense than some posters in this thread… what on Earth is going on…

Debatable.
The Orcs were not in their right mind, having been consumed by bloodlust drawn about by the consuming of demon blood. Also there were Orcs that were too young to take part in the fighting because they were children or infants.
A policy of ‘imprison for life because they’re Orcs’ means even those completely innocent, who had never killed a single soul, either because they were too young or not even born yet, would also languish in captivity for their entire lives.

Hilarious. I’m so glad the Horde is here to teach me morals. I see now that committing genocide on three races and destroying your own planet, and committing genocide on four races on a new planet is the morally superior position than putting a hostile army in prison. I’m sure the Horde wouldn’t have enslaved any survivors either, as the Horde has NO HISTORY OF SLAVERY. looks at list of Horde slaves
They already started committing genocide and using Warlock and necromancy before they actually drank the demon blood. Shattrath was like the last stronghold and that’s where they drank it, they presumably wiped out almost all of the other Draenei, Arrakoa, Saberon, and the Ogres they didn’t enslave, oh wait I can’t say that, the Horde never enslaved anyone

I’m still waiting for Horde fans to answer what the Alliance should do to atone for said “enslavement” of children. And by then what the Alliance can do to CHILD MURDERS/PEOPLE WHO FREED CHILD MURDERS.

The enslavement of those four individuals was indeed evil, however it was done by rogue nobles, one of which was attempting to overthrow the Alliance using an Orc army.
Clearly because of that the Alliance needs to be genocided.
I just logged on my Horde Slaver toon and checked to see how many slave Leper gnomes there are in Silvermoon and there’s like 6 of them. One of them is in a cage crying and two get to sleep at a time before the demon whips them to get back to work. So Silvermoon alone has more slaves than those rogue nobles had.
I’m sure the Horde posters will skim past this though and go back to clutching their pearls that they stole off of their slaves.
