Why do casuals care?

Literally the only reason why it’s important is because Blizzard arbitrarily told everyone that it’s important.

The storylines don’t need to be connected to player power and progression.

there is no importance.
its borrowed power
yet the repercussions of chosing the " wrong one " are horrible
REEEEEEE

the story changes with a pen stroke and with the wild will of a cranky dev team. There cant be a strict reliance on story in a video game.

making alot of asumptions there. alot of false ones.

Forgive me, I don’t think I’ll ever understand how other people having an option is detrimental to your gameplay. I guess I’m just not smart enough.

What? That is not true at all. That would be like me saying the only reason it’s not important is because the streamers like preach say it’s not. Just stop with this nonsense. People have their own minds.

Ok forget about it.

I want ALL the racial abilities available to my race.

I want all the spells of everyone. Ill make my own damn class.

THIS IS WHAT YOU ALL HOMOGENIZER ARE SOUNDING LIKE

Don’t forget about having the race you choose be in any faction you want.

We dont need factions anymore.

I’d give everything to be a Horde Dark Iron Dwarf, ngl.

Already restricted by faction, class and race. People complain about being left out of content because they’re not viable / part of the current meta.
Proceed to applaud covenants which now compound on top of class, race and faction.

Leopards eating their own faces.

… What?

Isn’t the story the big reason why the majority of people PLAY video games?

I agree, being locked behind a faction even though it’s the basis of the story being told makes me less powerful. There is a reason everyone plays horde. I should be able to just instantly swap to the horde side at any moment I want.

Some are just spiteful and/or contrarians.

Others are casuals because they’ve become dissatisfied with the state of high-end content and welcome anything with potential to bring a wave of change that will otherwise never come.

so basically yall want this game to be an MMO and not an MMORPG. it would be best for everyone if blizzard purposely went out of their way to make it impossible for all the classes to be perfect for endgame content . or simply give you all the same exact spells and stats in your instances and not outside since clearly you dont know what yall want and argue with eachother over every tiny thing.

most people should play the game because its fun… right?
if the story gets in the way of the game systems we shouldnt have that issue… right?
I dont see the last of us restricting us to 1 weapon at the start of the game.

lets all be demonhunter. Also remove damage taken. Its all a dps race now.

Let’s give demonhunters the ability to heal. All spells are swappable right?

ill put my money on 9.1 we hear you patch.
don’t want to be petty… but im book marking this thread for a giggle when it happens.

But you also use your other weapons when you don’t have the optimal one, don’t you?

You use all your items to make it work and get through it, and if you’re clever enough the difference between the two options doesn’t matter.

ah yes remind me!
