Why do blue eyes matter so much? Seriously though why the rage?

Yup, which were a mistake.

Nope, one drank demon blood and became bloodlust crazy while the other didn’t.

That’s fine, you can dismiss it all you want. Doesn’t make you right, just means we’re both too lazy to go find the proof.

So…horde can have human races, dranei, etc. and you’re telling me no alliance would say a peep about “omfg horde stealing our races!” ?

Which in my opinion is dumb and shouldn’t be a thing, hence the whole reason we’re replying to each other.

Also like I said, you’re going to say horde can have alliance races and allied players wouldn’t freak out and say “omfg horde stealing our races!” ?

I and Blizzard disagrees.

In that case horde should get red skinned draenei (manarai) and humans which helped the orcs pass the mountains to attack lorderon because they’re just like undead, just physically different vs. ideologically.

Except you’re the one making the point, not me.

There are no Humans or Draenei currently in the Horde.

There are High Elves currently in the Alliance.

I don’t get why this is difficult for you to understand.

I’d ask for a source but you already admitted that you’re too lazy to find it.

Sure, a case could be made for that if the lore is good. I think there are better choices for Horde races like Forest Trolls and Taunka but I won’t dismiss it without hearing the story pitch.

Pandaren were a mistake because they advance the idea of High elves? Or because people don’t like pandas?

I think the blood elves would be independent again if the forest trolls joined the horde, lol

The Revantusk Trolls are already in the Horde. They can be found in the Hinterlands.

It’s a canonical fact that they are high elves biologically.

That’s fine, they’re ideologically different from the ones on the alliance so we can make up some lore for it to be so.

And they’re literally the same ones that are blood elves except they have blue eyes.

It’s not. I understand your point completely “They’ve been separated for over 30 years, that’s ton enough time for them to be different” except it’s not. Everything high elf is blood elf, except blue and as I stated before, I think having the exact blood elf model on the alliance except with blue eyes is stupid and shouldn’t happen, that’s my whole opinion. You can disagree and say they should and that’s that.

Well my whole point is I think horde and alliance races mixing factions sides and just naming them something different is dumb, that’s that. If alliance players want to just have blood elves swap factions all together, that’d make 100% more sense to me and be possible imo.

No one denies that, but we don’t devalue their lore and identity by reducing them to their eye color.

Only thing i hate about and is unfounded because we dont know if they will include all races on this added customization thing for shadowlands … Is that half the races have way way way less options than some , are they just gonna add randomly or will they try to even things out …

Just make one of each race , you’ll see what i mean , just hope they fix that in shadowlands and not just add some to certain classes , especially when they have a similar races like both taurens , both gnomes , both orcs , both spacegoats , both elfves , both trolls …

So yea blue eyes dont matter much , if every race can get blue eyes , or whatever color , just have the same amount of options for each

that’s where you were going in the post.

When? I’m saying race in the context of allied races, not by being actually completely different.

Around there.

That was just to make a point. When I just bring up their eye color I’m discounting all their lore after the third war.

They wanted Blood Elves, which are High Elves, on Alliance.

Now that high elves are official Horde, my only hope is that they at least give Void Elves the option to not be a shade of purple or blue.

I have no doubt in my mind they won’t touch them, but here’s to hoping at least.

You can be ash white too lol

Sure, if you make it convincing, it can happen.

The differenc with High Elves is they’re already on the Alliance, and so there doesn’t need to be lore to support it. It’s already canon.

So?

I never made that point.

I said they had different loyalities, I never pinned it on the 30-year separation.

Making the choice to play a NIghtborne elf even that more ironic. You hate the thing you are literally playing.

Because of one out of character quote from Tyrande

nightborne have more in common with blood elves than any race on the alliance

I agree. They’re still Horde Night Elves.
