Why do Americans fawn over Canadians so much?

Yup, and that’s why I’m renouncing my American citizenship. It’s highly inconvenient to be American abroad.

I looked into it while I was married to the Canadian. The sponsor has income requirements and he did not meet it, and could not get a co sponsor.

In the US, you can have someone else help you sponsor immigration. It was quite easy to get a spousal visa tbh. Just took six months.

I don’t remember the sponsor having an income requirement for family sponsorship (my wife didn’t have one), but that may have changed since I emigrated in 2011.

And my Canadian friend got a fiance visa in like eight months, but her work permit came in like six weeks. The American system is weird.

That is from the front page of the Forum GD stuff that is pinned.

If you have ever been silenced, or given a forum vacation, it affects whether or not you will receive TL3, or get it back. I had it for a long time, said something sarcastically verbatim back to someone, I was silenced, and lost my TL3…which then brought me to the conclusion that it’s a stupid system, something to be held over ppl in these forums for some popularity forum channel, ability to post gifs and links w/o spaces etc…who needs it. I say what I say, if I get reported and silenced again for a couple days/weeks/forever…whatever. I’m not mean by any spectrum of many here, but I also speak my mind and some ppl don’t like/cannot handle that, even if it’s tactful. lol

Canada hates us? That is news to me.

We tried in 2000 or 2001.

This is very true. I had to wait four months for a cystectomy. At the time they weren’t sure if it was ovarian cancer or endometriosis. It ended up being stage IV endometriosis.

Mostly it’s just Scott. But Scott hates everyone, so it’s not that big of a deal.

Canada seems nice, coming from an American. I also really love the cold and snow and maple syrup so… can I be a Canadian now?

Yeah but, Scott’s a dick. Screw what he thinks.

You mean “bags” of milk

Canadians are largely irrelevant to Americans. Aside from laughing at their pronunciation of “about”.

That health insurance though

depends which americans.

the adult children of california and oregon? yeah, they love canada. it’s the big adult playpen they want the world to be.

the rest of us? we like you to an extent, but we see what a pit you’ve made yourself.

Canada shows how a government can work while Americans are programmed to think they have the best even though they vote for the worst.

I went maybe whatever years ago when you didnt need a passport to drive across the boarder. I dont remember much but I think we were 19 we could buy drinks.

shows how a government can work when it’s made up of emasculated manchildren and the worst kind of women in existence.

I never heard of any Americans that “fawn” over Canada. We kinda just make fun of you for being too nice and being where JB came from.
