Why do Alliance players want Horde races?

The Alliance is not asking for the Horde’s Blood Elves. They ask for the Silver Covenant and they are not Horde. They are Alliance.

Nightborne were not Horde when released. And if they went Alliance, Horde would’ve complained as well, even harder, because both sides helped.

Vulpera is weird, though. Not sure why asking for a race the Alliance didn’t even help.

With characters like Valeera and Alleria in the alliance why wouldn’t Alliance players want to make characters like that in their own faction?

alliance players are just salty

This right here. I mean worgen though they were handled bad is exactly a cool race, but with a bad role playing racial that’s good for lewd stuff in Goldshire. Blueberry muffin elves, Lava dwarves, Extra Thick Nukem race and Holy Goats. The developers even shared Pandaren with them and they’re still not satisfied.

That’s why I went horde and it felt good. Alliance still wants Vulpera. Goblin > Gnomes.

Horde races are yucky

Legion races, in particular Man’ari Eredar though… :yum:

Ofc we’re salty, we legit just struggled to fill up the Mythic Nya hall of fame only recently finally filling it up. A statement of how bad of a state ally is in right now population wise.

Void Elves and DID were pretty cool. And can’t expect much because Highmountain and Nightborne were no better.

Not sure how any Alliance can complain on these set of Legion AR> The Alliance got the best races there.

“But they came out of nowhere and have no lore!” They have lore. Blood Elf Lore just like the Nightborne have NE lore.

It’s in BFA that the Alliance got it worse with Kultiran that not even Blizzard use in cinematics and Mechagnomes.

But Legion ARs for Alliance are even cooler than Horde’s.

Sometimes I think it might be the lack of an elvish paladin race, which I kind of understand. At least an elvish paladin race on Alliance side.

Mind your tongue you you greedy, green-skinned toad! You and those that practice your craft worshiping rocks and water are truly unworthy. The Light is the only true path. Embrace it and you may yet find redemption!

You must not watch a lot of content creators.

Most content creators I watch play Horde, are Mythic raiders, and all agree The Alliance is in a pretty awful spot playerbase wise, but its Blizzards problem.

High Elves were Alliance for ALMOST THE ENTIRETY OF HISTORY in WoW. They are only a “Horde race” because the developers had to give the Horde someone pretty to play since the faction had serious population problems in Vanilla.

The Nightborne are LITERALLY Night Elves and they just got handed to the Horde because Thalyssra got upset that she got a cold reception from Tyrande…who would have thought if you hide in a bubble for 10k years as the world has to fight it’s way through everything that others would be upset. The REAL PROBLEM about the Nightborne going Horde is that not only does it look like Thalyssra is just thirsty for Lor’themar but she did it despite any connections her “faction” would have to the existing Night Elves in the game, there could be family to reunite, there could be long lost friends etc. etc. etc… But that is the writing we got, so people complained that the Horde got handed YET ANOTHER Alliance race for free. It’s not like the Alliance got HM Tauren…it got 2 pulled from thin air “races”.

This is mostly because everyone wanted to play Vulpera, nothing more. Cute foxes have mass appeal as opposed to diaper Gnomes with broken Xmog and forced to have have 4 prosthetic limbs so they look like floating heads.

This is a ridiculous troll. Wonder how you would have felt if Alliance HAD gotten HM Tauren and Mag’har or Zandalari. Alliance gets no such love from the devs, if the Horde ask then it gets what it wants…while Alliance is working it’s way through fat humans and hundreds of horse mounts, so compelling.

lol wut?

You understand that what we term as human is pretty set in stone yes? And that regardless of what “race” the Alliances’ races actually are, we see all of them as varying levels of anthropomorphic in relation to what we consider a “human” to be, yes?

If so, most Alliance races are considered more human by our definitions than most of the Horde races, which are more “monstrous” and divorced from what we consider to be “human looking”.

This isn’t an argument, this is fact.

Wholeheartedly agree, then again, i take popularity over diversity, when requesting allied races.

Along that line, whats to say High Elves can’t receive changes to diversify them from Blood Elves? They literally did it with Kul Tiran Humans and Zandalari Trolls, both already existing “races” in game but have vastly different models from their parent race, all because of story, and the separate High elf story, is easily due for expanding.

That being said, i was one of the first in line requesting Sethrak for the Alliance before BFA even launched, yet here we are 2 years later, with fat humans and amputee gnomes, the 2 most unpopular, uninspired, and underplayed races in game thus far.

Because we keep getting exact copies of races. We have dwarves, now we get ash covered dwarves. We had gnomes now we get gnomes with metal arms, we got blue blood elves, and we got shiny space goats, like the models arent even different. And we got glutinous, diabetic humans.

Atleast Zandalari trolls are even taller and look cool. Mag har orcs have straight backs. Nightborne were an L in my opinion and blizz dropped the ball on them. And the cows are probably under the same class as our allied races. But yall got vulpera, a new model that isnt just a reskin.

Alliance are the good guys. So they want all the pretty races or standard fantasy races. Many think horde only deserve the uggos

But asking for high elves means that you’re asking for yet another exact copy of a race?

Why do people with almost no posts keep making anti high elf threads just to be edgy?

High elves have been a thing and have been requested long before blood elves joined the Horde, this isn’t anything new.

I think alliance players are just tired of getting reskins. Humans 2.0, Gnomes 2.0, Dwarves 2.0, Horses 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0…

Blizzard: blood elves are high elves.
People: it’ll still happen

Blizzard: here are some purple high elves
People: itll still happen! Lets lighten the skin to white

Blizzard: look its currently not happening
People: it’ll happen! I feel it!

We think of Horde as a bunch savages that need to be leashed. Now when you give them civilized races like Elves it ruins our RP.
