I pre-ordered the Epic Edition. I always do.
Hardcopy Collector’s Edition on pre-order from my local EB Games as well; I have them all since Wrath. (My ex wouldn’t let me buy Collector’s Ed Vanilla or BC… read ‘EX’.

I haven’t bought it yet, but mostly because I’m strapped for cash right now, just bought a motorcycle from my friend, but I’ll definitely be buying it soon, next paycheck maybe.
Just the basic version. I don’t care too much about the extra stuff. But I know I’ll be playing, I sub on the 6 month cycle already.
That is the only thing I want from the physical CE edition. Which makes the cost not worth it. I don’t care for the mogs or the hearthstone effect so I bought the heroic version.

I’ll be definitely be playing Dragonflight. I’m mostly a roleplayer that does casual PVE, so I’m largely immune to the “bad” state of the game. As far as game mechanics go, I play mostly for the leveling experience and dungeons. And in that realm, Blizzard (almost) never disappoints (that unskippable Maw intro was a terrible oversight). I don’t really do M+, except maybe the occasional low keys. Dragonflight could be rushed and have a terrible endgame, but my fun wouldn’t really be affected.
I haven’t pre-ordered yet, but I will eventually. Just the base edition, but maybe I’ll upgrade to the heroic edition if I ever want a cheaper level 60 boost during this xpac. Right now, I’m spending the $50 on a new tabletop RPG book that I’ll be digging in to while I wait for DF.

I pre-ordered last night. I am not happy with Blizzard direction with storytelling…but WoW is my 2nd home

Eh, even Shadowlands had a fun launch experience. WoD was fantastic, too. The first month of any expansion is worth the box price.

Tokens lower my price to free ninety nine, my favourite price! My guild has 0 plans to quit or disband and they’re my friends, 8 years now with them.

I preordered cause I always pre order. Looking forward to the expansion. Wanted the pets/mounts/transmog now.

Honestly, because I know I have the money for it now. Maybe times will be tougher in 5 to 6 months and I won’t have it then for whatever reason, bad economy, car/home repair, holiday expense.
I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Maybe in a few a days. /shrugg

yea me to. the mouse pad is meh i mean i don’t use small mouse pads anymore and everything else kinda meh like the HS is just a toy if like the SL one which isn’t good imo unless you keybind it which i don’t.
the whole way they approached the keys with it kinda is dumb imo though. could of just send digital keys via email for it and not include a key in the box itself. i mean the key i did get in the CE SL came in a nice envelope but that was it not like it was super fancy or anything.
Mog is life, more mog is obviously more life. More life is good.
Seriously though, the game is always super fun for PVE at xpac releases. Love it when the whole community is gearing up. Tier sets feel like a soft reset between seasons to fill out content (lots of higher ilvl a in LFR for example).
Wow also still plays and feels better than anyone else in the genre to me. I’ve played quite a few competitors but nothing feels as fluid as wow.
Dragons, obviously.

I’ll wait to see what people are saying about it before buying it. I can’t imagine it being any good when they’re rushing it out.
im going to play regardless and the boost and the game time alone are worth it so why not?

I was debating on waiting, but given how quick the Physical collectors editions go out of stock I decided to just go ahead and get it. Never done one before and I want to at least have one collectors edition. Hurt my wallet a bit, but I have been making up for it thanks to just cooking my own food like steak stir fry with some rice. I would add veggies, but I don’t as much due to price and stuff.
You can always buy the CE too when you find it in stock. I did at my local Gamestop

I preorder because I know I will be playing the next expansion.
For me playing wow its a luxury I afford myself and I dont need to justify it.
I like playing around for now with the bonuses and the knowledge I can already play the new class when its available in the prepatch.
Its my money and I do what I want.
