Pre-ordered the last 3 expansions, 2 of them were a bit of a let down for me, so gonna wait and see for this one. As much as I dislike WoW YouTubers for the most part, if Blizz can convince a lot of the ones who dumped SL, and get praise from those critics, I may re-consider. After WoD, the massive amounts of praise and coverage Legion got convinced me enough to pre-order. Blizz is really going to need these levels of praise and coverage again.

No but i likely will. Right now im just debating on in game stuff but i was gonna play it anyways. Firat i have to do sl stuff and maybe bfa stuff since i basically haven’t played through them fully.
Told myself id give sl a chance so i am but df is probably my last expac if i dislike sl and df. Its just based off personal experience not other peoples perception of the expacs.
No I did not. You knuckleheads had the same idea as me while I was at work and drove the token prices up.
It’s not a matter of can I afford it. I am not paying that price. My fake currency means more to me than that.

It’ll start coming back down after people start buying for cash to stock up on gold. A few people recently even commented “Not til it’s 200k”… wellllll.

Since I am still having fun playing the game and know I will be playing Dragonflight I went and preordered the epic version so when the new race/class comes out I will be ready to make a new alt.
Other things look interesting as well like dragon riding, the talent trees so far though wish they would show more even hearing no borrowed powers is a good thing.
I understand those who are cautious this time around after SL burned so many of us out if you rather wait then rush into it no hurries, we are all human and we all have different ways of doing things.
I managed to get out of the boat you’re in with SL, OP. Unless Blizz moves away from borrowed power and lets our characters actually gain abilities again as they level up, I’m probably not even gonna pay for an expansion again, let alone preorder one.
Them including a FOMO pet as a preorder bonus this time is a sneaky tactic, but I’ll let that pass me by as well unless DF shows me that it’ll be a worthwhile purchase.

But the title said " did you pre order " and when some said no and told why op didn’t want to hear it. The title was misleading in asking a question.
Maybe change title to “did you pre order? why or why not”

thing about shadowlands, it was bad before 9.1.5 then it became better, problem is how bad it was received and it kept going with 9.1 and korthia, shadowlands reputation would have been better if it had started with 9.1.5 and other patches changes
