I am merely stating my experience.
If something else is going on, its worth exploring. But I am relaying what happened to me.
Well my Red Card wasn’t changed, and my yellow card got dropped to nearly 1/4th of it’s value… so I’m kind of annoyed.
I’m sure they nerfed their playerbase about 10% also. Sitting under 600k now sinking fast
Dude, I’m not happy about the nerfs, but I Think your going a bit overboard. Relax. :\
Nope that’s my time and these lock suckers are stealing it. Later people and the things that defend these pos. Off to find a game to play not a time prison
Zero outrage here bro. Amused that Blizzard apparently can’t handle their own jobs or adequately track feedback from 3 months of PTR testing.
Nerfing the stats on already available mediocre gear to make the gear from instanced content look better (when they could have done this months ago had they been paying attention) just seems terribly silly.
So the players are more intelligent than the developers and we should always expect the developers to make stupid mistakes that stand for months of testing and weeks of Live play before suddenly being fixed?
Guess that makes the developers unintelligent apes? Or maybe amoebas?
According to World of Wargraphs there are more people who had two or more mythic bosses down in BoD than there are people who play on RP servers (around 10% for both).
You’re really only elite if your clear the raid and your guild is listed in the Hall of Fame. Buying a carry to get a mythic kill doesn’t qualify.
lol It only gives 40 haste on proc now? That means my 385 trinket is better and I sharded that thing.
So you think 90% of people with two mythic bosses down are paying for runs?
Same. Now how do i get my old trinket back lol
My red card (RNG being RNG) is 40 Haste.
My yellow card dropped from close to 200 and close to 100 to 40 and 13. Like Nyaria, I’m pretty sure that’s closer to losing 3/4 of it’s value than 1/2.
You’re defending that move… seriously?
A 45 Ilvl difference in a quest reward, that all of a sudden is a “bug” that needed to be fixed the day the patch dropped.
Wow…
No, what they did was wrong and how they did it was wrong.
It was insulting to the players intelligence and a good ol slap in the face to nerf it into garbage for 95% of players.
No. I said 1% of players clear the entire raid and get listed on the Hall of Fame.
Though a majority of those 1-2 kills are carries.
Yeah maybe they are. Or just like literally other game in the world the live version has cascading and unexpected consequences with problems they couldn’t fix in the beta because getting a launch candidate out for a massive content update is more important than a tuning pass for a single trinket.
It’s almost as if being a player trying to be an early adopter on the bleeding edge requires you to use your head a little bit? Or you can keep bragging about how smart you are compared to the developers.
Oh and for the commenters saying their trinket wasn’t OP. I just looked at my BiS list and the perfectly optimized Punch Card with a 404 red is at least 0.5% better then every trinket in Eternal Palace at ilvl 445. More than 1% better than literally all of them except Dribbling Ink pod.
I don’t go out of my way to complain about blizzard but this nerf is just not right. My main had some good luck with punch cards, having one warforge and one titanforge and the trinket was sitting at 424 item level. I sold the 410 trinket it replaced. Now I look and the trinket has been nerfed to 400.
This is the type of stuff PTR is for, you should never put something in the game and then nerf it two weeks later to the detriment of the player.
I don’t really see what people getting into the Hall of Fame has to do with mythic raid gear progression being devalued.
Yep, I got rid of the trinket I was wearing in that slot after I grinded out a decent yellow card. Now, I’m out all those mats, the time I spent farming them, and the old trinket I had…
