They're strongmen physique, not fat. Fat humans would be 80% of this gaming community, those guys are fat! Kultirans are the weight lifters from the circus, wearing the leopard one piece saying "HIP HIP HO!" every time they lift.

Pretty sure that they are fat especially the females

Well if you're not a member of the church of iron and gains there's no point in explaining. I personally will be playing these big SOBs.
They arent playable07/10/2018 05:19 AMPosted by OllicronThere's also skinny versions of kul tirans not just the fat ones. They look like living versions of undead....just skin and bones.
I've seen multiple posts on the matter and here I go again and say it:
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A FAT KUL TIRAN, THERE'S AN OPTION TO BE SKINNY, SKINNY LIKE AN UNDEAD WITH SKIN SKINNY.
I could have swore I have seen some posts asking for "portly mages". The posts described it as weird that a caster still looked as ripped as the Fury Warrior carrying 2 2H Weapons. We have male pandas for this look, but I guess an option with no fur was desired.
If you look at the time period Kul'tiras is kind of set in as far as look goes .
It would most likely be the time of Victorian England and at that time plump was considered beautiful .
What people are doing now is projecting their fashion magazine, tv/ movie star , got to starve myself conceptions of what women should look like.
Probably more then half the people playing male and female that are bashing them in rl look like them.

Kul tirans remind me of lineman in american football. They look slow and out of shape but can run circles around you.
I would be fine with looking like the male model. He is overweight but ripped. The female model has no power in her figure and has this strange vapid expression on her face. She just doesnt look tough, powerful or scary. She looks soft, timid and weak.07/10/2018 07:35 PMPosted by WeidmannIf you look at the time period Kul'tiras is kind of set in as far as look goes .

Give me the Skinny Kul'Tirans option (Not the Stormwind models) and I'll be cool.
The Alliance definitely got short-changed on the Allied races.
Here you have 3 races with intricate, imposing baggage, not to mention grand settings -
Z a n d a l a r
H i g h m o u n t a i n
S u r a m a r
Now let's compare that to:
- A crummy space ship filled with faction that really doesn't have a history; it's like calling the military arm of a nation "a race"
- Purple-tinted warlock/DH/random Legion/TBC-esque subzone, home to elves with the flimsiest backstory
- Fat humans. Admittedly, KT is pretty cool, but it's toe-to-toe with Zandalar, and not that "innovative" compared to anything the Alliance has had, like ever. More human stuff. Gilneas! Yay. SW Harbour! Yay. Dalaran! Yay. Gilneas! Yay. This is the Gilneas of BFA. Gilneas was hella neat in Cata. Only difference? KT will probably be used more.
If anyone argues that the Alliance didn't get jipped on the Allied races, they are seriously deluding themselves.
That's okay though; I don't care for equity too much and my Horde mains will be pleased. I suppose this is what we get for having multiple years of proper architecture.

You guys got Dark Iron dwarves with shadowforge city. One of the only hubs inaccessible to the opposite faction. You even get a badass tavern down there.07/10/2018 08:17 PMPosted by KhelehkThe Alliance definitely got short-changed on the Allied races.

Horde doesnt get suramar, a NEUTRAL courtyard is all that exists. Emphasis on neutral
Horde doesnt get highmountain because again, its neutral
If you like Zandalar better then that is taste not a matter of getting jipped
The only thing I will give you is that horde got some of the coolest druid forms this round of allied races

Tresska, I respect you having that view but Shadowforge City is basically BRM/BRD assets used galore.
And I painted KT with the tired brush because it is. Human stuff has had numerous paintjobs, additions and reskins over the years. Trolls (playable ones) haven't really. So in that light, it's a huge boon.

12835Yes but horde cannot access the part of it that wont attack you, you can. Alliance CAN access the horde hubs and they will not get attacked. You see the difference? If you want to visit the courtyard in suramar you will be free to do so and the guards are even neutral. I however will not be able to get to the hub version of shadowforge city and enjoy a brew without being attacked.

Therfore you get exclusive hubs we dont get anything since anyone can go there and they are neutral
In a game as long in the tooth as WoW, where it's so easy to have max levels of either faction, is exclusivity the hill you really wanna die on?
How you all can get so excitable is beyond me. All these races, most of these mounts, are just terrible re-skins.
Wouldn't it be nice to get something new for a change?

This is literally one of the reasons KTs are so welcome for me.07/10/2018 09:03 PMPosted by ShónuffHow you all can get so excitable is beyond me. All these races, most of these mounts, are just terrible re-skins.

They AREN'T reskins. Sure, they're humans... but then again, they really aren't. They're half-giant, sea-witch pirates.
You are the one that decided to try and make it a competition between factions. You tried to say horde is getting better faction hubs and I showed you that you ware wrong. No need to be salty about it07/10/2018 08:54 PMPosted by KhelehkIn a game as long in the tooth as WoW, where it's so easy to have max levels of either faction, is exclusivity the hill you really wanna die on?
It meant less work for the devs just a rehashed version of humans. Instead they could have just added more to customization options.

If it was up to me id give you all this stupid trash ally races we are getting for 1 undead ally race
Well we MIGHT be getting san'layn.
If Ion had any sense he would ban any and all future elf races from being added.
4 is already too many.
Plenty of races in the game that could be added. Ogres, Vykrul, Naga, Saytr, Nerubians, Dragonkin, Fey, Sylvans, Ethereal, Arakkoa, Eredar, Broken, etcetera etcetera

They are just fat humans and getting them instead of say a race Kul'tirans had allied with that could have been invented or say murlocs...........nobody wanted to just be obese in game.
Being overweight also would make you a horrible soldier or military sailor. Just go near a naval base and count how many people are overweight (it will be zero due to Navy height/weight standards) there is very good reason.
