This implies the people using potato flight will even make it to the objective before people with dragonriding get there and pew pew it.

BlizZard doesnât like that demand for TBC is very sky high so they attach as many poison pills as possible.

If they gave tbc classic the choice of dragon riding verse static flying, Iâd bet the sky would be filled with dragon riding mounts.
With the occasional hovering person.
I do not think so because BlizZard could have allowed TBC flying at the start of the expansion alongside DR and let people choose.
The fact that they are afraid of players making a choice speaks volumes IMVHO.
Furthermore, attaching an achieve to have access to TBC flying wile DR is handed out so easily psychologically signals that they view TBC flying more valuable even if that is not their intent.

At least for release content, maybe have to do ZC content to unlock it there, but this is Blizzard we are talking about, instead of doing it in staged that make sense, they have to do it all at once.
I am not so sure it is they are afraid of people making a choice as much as knowing human nature to stick to the old/familiar.
Itâs mind boggeling.
TBC flying is awesome as it is a balanced system. DR allows you to avoid aggro at ease which is game breaking and full of exploits.

While I much prefer dragonriding for traveling across zones, there are situations where I wish I just had quick access to a flying mount when vigor starved.
For example, farming herbs/ore with multiple nodes in quick succession even with the cultivation node I feel there are times vigor does not regen quick enough and Iâm left sitting there waiting for it to regen.
There are other times like jumping quickly between quest objectives, especially when needing to pick up 8-10 items on the ground, etc etc.
Lots of valid reasons to pick a traditional flying mount over a dragonriding mount even outside of people with motion sickness issues.

The complaint is that it wont be in ZC and the new zone, not that there are valid reasons for situational game play overall.

Why should I need 15 renown with mole people and emerald dream people if I canât fly there? Let me mostly avoid the zone if it lacks the accessibility feature I need FFS. If I canât use regular flying there Iâd rather just have a friend fly me to the new world boss (if there is one) and otherwise never set foot in there. But nope, Blizz being spiteful forcing me to grind content I hate to get something completely unrelated.

I miss normal flying ⌠donât really care what anyone one else thinks they donât pay my sub. Iâm happy they adding it back. The pathfinder thing is stupid though ⌠but they did this last time.

Only this time itâs worse, because two thirds of the requirements are nonsensical, because we canât fly in Zaralek or Emerald Dream.
