Pve has tiers which award increasing rewards.

PvP has tiers which award increasing rewards.

What’s the problem? RP doesn’t give gear rewards?

How are you going to judge RP and give it tiers?

Oh good! I got here early. I’m very excited

Why do irritating players think that a) they represent casuals and b) they get to decide how raiders should and shouldn’t feel?

I can’t believe people still raid in this game or treat it as individual skill :joy:.

This whole thread is a joke. Nothing was proven. Raiders NEED the best gear in the game to KILL the hardest bosses in the game. NO ONE needs top gear to Role Play, or PVP or transmog. The only reason you have gear with stats is to kill NPC’s. Gear in PVP only matters that you have gear equal to the level of other players.

This post must be trying to be sarcastic.

I can’t see anyone who’s done 50 random bgs and hasn’t won at least a few.

I can’t say the same for a random player trying to do Mythic Raiding content and guaranteeing a kill after 50 attempts.

I would like for you to find me a random player who did 50 120 lvl random bg’s with 0 wins. I can easily find you a raider who’s done 50+ attempts on a mythic boss and hasn’t killed it yet.

Your “proof” is just you stating things as if they are facts. You claim your a role-player. Are you role-player someone who is bad at debating?

Why do non raiders think they deserve anything? Oh that’s right, we all have areas we prefer. Off you high horse there skippy, we all play this game for our own reasons. Spend more time concerning your self and how you enjoy your time on line and stop trying to foster discontent because someone rubbed you the wrong way.

Been a while since I’ve been here. Thought to come check the forums for a pulse of the game and this is the nonsense I come back to.
I did intend to respond to your points but then I remembered I don’t speak crazy. I dabble in weeb and think I have some proficiency in troll but just never learned how to crazy talk. Though, judging by your post, you are the Jedi Master of crazy. Teach me o insane one!

You’d make a valid argument if you’ve ever been above 1800 in arena or a rbg…

Sorry, did the OP say random BGs are challenging content? I mean I guess if you play with your feet and your eyes closed. News flash, at least half of the people in a random BG will win. Not exactly challenging content…

You have a starfish stuck to your face and you don’t look happy about it. LOL

@OP, this post is a bad attempt at trolling. 3/10.

Lol. Go spend “hundreds of hours” role playing as a competent raider. If that doesn’t change yer mind, then you are too lost to be taken seriously in any capacity.

Random bgs are not hard lol.

I dont even pvp but your average player in a random bg is not very good at pvp.

Recently went into one to get by blood of the enemy essence and was 2v1ing people as fury. I am not a good pvper.

Same could be said for lfr - normal raids. Any serious pvper could go do that content easily.

Raiders deserve a hell of a lot more than pvpers. Jus sayin

I mean, PVP IS the most challenging content in the game. No dungeon Blizzard can make up can match the challenge provided by a top tier, organized pvp match.

Raiding is more social challenge though, because it’s also quite difficult to manage a group of twenty compared to usually smaller pvp sizes.

Both groups invest large amounts of effort and time to being the best at what they do, though I’d probably tip the balance in favor of PVPers since they ALSO have to take up the raiders challenges to ensure they have competitive gear while PVErs dont have to do PVP.

Which one should have better rewards? I can’t say. Honestly I felt they did it better in TBC/Wrath when they had resilience as a PVP gear stat to make it not really applicable to raiding, while making it better for PVP than PVE gear. I don’t know why they did away with that.

The problem is that gear is THE big reward and everyone wants a big reward.

Raiders like to say that they only want the best gear so they can do the hardest content, but that’s a crock: They want the best gear because it is the best and most of them wouldn’t raid if they weren’t going to get the best gear. And that’s fine, to want the best reward, but don’t pretend you wouldn’t even care about the cool gear if you didn’t NEED it, lol. It is okay to want cool stuff.

Mounts are gradually getting played out as rewards. Toys ARE played out. Pets used to be a big deal but now that there are so many, they are less so. Gear is all that is left.
