Why did Blizzard put us on a patch where Raids can be cleared by non60s?

Don’t use private servers as example. Use Vanilla videos. We all know private servers don’t have the original Vanilla codes and get a lot of stuff wrong

Private servers guessed at the numbers. lol?

Completely agreed there regarding the skinnerbox deal. China has WAY too much influence over the direction of this company, as proven by their mobile push for the chinese market.

What free 110?

And yet their world and boss tuning is way more on point than this patch. Weird how that works.

No, it’s entirely inaccurate. Blizzard has the actual 1.12 client, and they just copied the values.

This one. Released on an official account and later deleted because it may have been a premature announcement.

This is the original 1.12 patch, were literally seeing a copy paste of numbers from original 1.12. Pservers had alot of things wrong, and blizzard even pointed that out.

Also its to late to demand we go back a few patch’s or that we should just make everything harder. Were stuck with it, blizzard aint changing it. This entire thread is pointless.

Those that came back for only Classic probably will not go to retail. But plenty of people will go back to retail. WoW is not going to die if Classic tanks.

I am trying to say they can have the actual client, but there is a thing called tuning they seem capable of doing in retail that they haven’t done here.

Because that would be a change, and defeats the point of Classic.

Classic will also have its droughts, which i bet blizzard is putting its cards on. Perfect way to incentives players to give bfa a try. Not that i suggest they do.

I think the droughts are far less likely to happen as gear is actually valuable and not all immediately replaced by world quests when the next patch launches.

People will continue to be doing the content for a long time because gear takes longer to get and is actually more useful than it is in retail.

This is only Blizzard from Brazil though (?)

Yeah no doubt, but players burn out. People lose focus, or lose sight of there goal. Its a smart business move on blizzards part

Honestly, I think this is quite a leap and totally unjustified.

Nobody wants Classic to fail. They’ve bent over backward trying to make sure it gets launched and established in a way that sets up the servers for longevity and healthy population for years rather than months.

I’m gathering that you’re disappointed because some people cleared the raid early. We were talking about it, too–like how did they get the rep? How did they get 40 people to 60 the day after the first guy broke records? It made no sense and we actually didn’t believe it was legit for a long time.

But these people who did what they did are not typical. They went in there with a rehearsed plan and they executed that plan on red bull and spreadsheets. Good on them. It has no bearing on the average player or the average guild’s progress through Classic.

Just…play the game. When you and your own guild get in there and find it less than you remembered, THEN you can start lamenting and prognosticating wreck and ruin. Until then, why can’t we just marvel at what our fellow gaming nerds accomplished while we grind on turtles in Hillsbrad? Why is that so hard? Why does everything have to be “That’s it…it’s ruined?”

Nothing is ruined. I’m on one of the lowest population servers in Classic, and it is still full of people, alive and buzzing, and we’re having a blast.

Just…c’mon, guys. Play the game!

It’s not that blizzard can’t raise the difficulty. Hell, if they wanted, they would make Rag one shot anyone who enters MC if they wanted, but that wasn’t their goal. They stated that their goal is to make the game very close to patch 1.12. It just turns out that in 1.12 MC wasn’t a challenge anymore. If they change their focus to primarily replicating an experience as opposed to a product, then they might boost the raids’ numbers.

My point is that Blizzard hasn’t failed in their mission but instead, we, as a community, failed to recognize what that mission would actually create.

You got changes out of the box. MC with 1.12 itemization and world nerfs.

Classic is being treated as a marketing ploy to rope people back in the base game. The minute We saw those skeleton changes I could already smell the foul stench of tencent all over this release.

I think that’s far more likely to happen when the content you’re doing is unfulfilling. That’s far less the case in Classic.

I do agree that people will burn out, though, but it will take longer.

One person got the rep, and he went out of the raid and got summoned back every time he doused a rune.

They didn’t get 40 people to 60. They killed it with sub-60s.

I believe the concern is that because some exceptional people are capable of it, everyone will be.

This was what Oyxia was like for most vanilla players.
