i dont like how in the cinematic they had his hair short during the sepulcher varian moment
i bet its cause they dont wanna spend time and money rigging a face model with different hair for a 2 second clip

Depression and what I’m guessing is his form of PTSD from what the jailor did and almost tried to make him do in Shadowlands. It effects everyone differently, in his case he trimmed his hair and may of gotten some habits from being exposed to Arthas’s soul as long as he was if the cinematic proves anything. Him pointing his blade at Thrall is very similar to Arthas pointing his in the original Wrath cinematic

That wasn’t a flash back to that moment. That was him in the present being reminded of the sensation by Thrall reaching out to him. It was showing someone with ptsd being triggered.

Well in movies often times when women experience a tragic moment they will cut their hair. I guess this is the same thing just it’s in a video game instead of a movie.
He is on a desert in the Cinematic, short hair keeps the head cooler in a hot climates.

Not it’s straight up him reliving the moment. It’s not meant to be a flashback.
all of that and prior to Shadowlands did he ever kill anyone? Did he ever hurt people for no reason, did he ever do things most may feel only monsters would do? The Jailer had control of him yes but he had to watch as he was forced to do so much evil and now his faith in the light is called to question, his faith in himself is shattered, he fears he’ll hurt those he loves if they get near him… so yes he’s depressed and needs some good therapy but may come back from it all a better king than his own father

He’s been traveling alone for years now so cutting it is just a matter of convenience. Same with just letting a beard grow out. Both are relatively unkempt though and it’s clear they’re done haphazardly. You can even see the unevenness in the cinematic.

Kids never had a break from tragedy and SL broke him. Hes been disconnected from the light apparently. How hes been through all he has and not gone insane is a miracle tbh
like seriously how he was and is now in just five wow canon years its jarring. Heavy trama and wandering for 5 years
