How is it ignorant when I’m watching multiple different streamers on different servers and their GDKPs are exactly same. Plus, lots of people have experience them firsthand and posted their stories here.
I think its easy enough for even you to understand why a streamer would have whales/people who bought gold in their GDKP runs.
I have yet to see a streamer lead a GDKP… They are invited as whalers. What’s ur point again?
Its fine if you guys have humble goals of leveling new characters and occasionally raiding mc and bwl at a snails pace
But the reality is the “core” playerbase of wow has broader and grander goals then just being a casual MC raider on the weekends. If you want to raid or pvp at a higher than casual level you’ll eventually find yourself unable to achieve those goals clinging to soft reserve only groups. The way you guys demonize gdkp does nothing but make you guys look toxic and envious, even if it isn’t the case.
If you guys dont like gdkp, thats fine, but making posts calling it a "problem " and blaming it for the existence of RMT and petitioning for blizzard to ban it is just ridiculous. Just mind your own business
Ding, ding… DING!
I do think GDKPS contribute to a toxic economy and community. You dont and aight it a thing we can both agree to disagree and continue to be happy. You do you!
gdkp is the best pug format. SR pugs are doomed when half the dps leave because their item didnt drop. Meanwhile gdkp incentivizes performance and gives a reason to stick around to the end of the raid. If blizz is not willing to permaban gold buyers that’s on blizz, not the player base.
I’m glad we have other options. =)
I dont have anything smart to put here. lol
I could agree with that if gold buyers had to wear a golden “G” on a tabard or something where I could filter them out.
I don’t care where people’s gold comes from while in the raid. I don’t like gold buying but it isn’t my job to patrol that. I just want to go to my raid, get a good run, then get the payout. It’s on blizz to permaban gold buyers, and they definitely should. The fact that they don’t isn’t our problem nor concern. Blizz definitely dropped the ball on enforcement of RMT which is very sad, but that doesn’t make the GDKP raiding format bad or anything.
I do, therefor I will not be joining them.
I would work for free to police this for blizzard. It would make me so happy. =)
using that logic don’t use the AH because it’s all rmt gold being circulated around
until blizz enforces rmt permabans and currency deletion it doesn’t matter.
I have to use the AH, unfortunately. But I dont have to join GDKPs. =)
you don’t actually, you can make alts with all the professions you need and hand farm everything to not touch any rmt gold
It was said in jest and I apologize for not tagging my sarcasm.
I know very well such a thing is unworkable and I’m not assuming the role of enforcer that is Blizzard’s responsibility. I think people understand the advantages and I agree with the idea of gdkp being a superior distribution method for pugs - in theory.
I cannot give tacit approval to illicit rmt by participating at this time. It’s just one way I try to limit my exposure to it. Yes, there are other means for purchased gold to be injected into the economy. I still can’t just throw up my hands and not try because I feel Blizz isn’t doing enough.
Not attacking you or anyone that gdkps. I just can’t.
Never had this happen. RMTer myth.
Yes your personal anecdote disproves an event not occuring ever good to know thanks
It actually happen in my MC run last night… but guess what. Now no one will group with that individual again. He tried multiple times to put groups together for DME/W, UBRS. lol
We quickly replace him and keep on and finish MC. I got the agility cloak off Rag on my hunter. =)
Oh, I didn’t realize your point was that a single time someone left an SR raid early and so it’s not a good idea to run them. lmfao smh
Nah that wasn’t my point. Clearly second grade reading comprehension is beyond you so I suggest you take your phone to the local elementary school so the primary school teacher can break it down for you
Yeah, I know what your point was. It was that people leaving SR early is a common occurrence which is why “It’s never happened to me” is a relevant counter argument (inb4 your argument isn’t also an anecdote).
It’s not that hard to understand when you aren’t lying about SR raids and completely consumed with RMT greed-brain.
