A level [#]9 player getting all the best gear they could possibly have at level [#]9 wants to turn off XP so they can Peter Pan the [#]0-[#]9 bracket against players who won’t have all the best gear one can have at [#]9 because they’d level out of the bracket before they got it all…so they’re probably in greens and a couple blues.
And you wonder why the players who turn off their XP aren’t matched against players who didn’t?

Lol i personally ran into dozens of twinks while leveling in BG with enchants and everything.
You keep trying to push some notion that actual leveling players dont run into twinks and its just a flat out lie.
Those twinks only last as long as it takes to level, not constant, and not in the absolute best gear they can have.
and yet they are twinks in low level battlegrounds. ruining actual leveling players experience.

It turns out that twinking is only a popular activity when you can fight against non twinked toons, excepting of course the twinks that only want to fight other twinks, who appear to only exist on the forums.

you dont know what a twink is then? just because someone has enchants on, it does not mean they are a twink. and if they are in a “leveling” bg then their xp is turned on which means they will level which means they are not a twink. they are just someone that puts enchants and gems on items to max their ability to level and or do that smudge extra damage or healing or w/e. when i level a new toon i max them out in full boa’s, gems, enchants and even consumables. just because i want that extra bang.
if you ran into an old school twink you would know it. you would get 1 shot. like 1 shot with 5-10k overkill. and thats being generous compared to what i used to do. average level 70 hp was was like 8-10k and my aimed shots were hitting for 30k. thats a twink.

If you can solo 8 people by yourself in a low level battleground (which the twinks i ran into could) you are a twink. Kind of a stupid semantic argument that you are trying to do now.
regardless twinks dont exist anymore since the level squish. there is no ilvl / stat advantage in top tier bracket level cap gear anymore. twinks where dead and gone since the squish.
and even before then you would never see them because 99.99% of them had their xp turned off.
if you ever seen a “real” twink it might of been in the 1 year or so window when blizzard added the “turn off xp” feature. because when they added this feature players with xp turned on and off shared same bg’s. but then people like you complained and then blizzard changed it so only people with xp off can bg with other players with xp off and vice versa.
oh and btw bg’s are a horrible way to level. they give nothing. and you can go 2 levels questing in the time it takes to do 2-3 bgs which will only give you about 40-50% of a bar. so theres that argument debunked.

you are beating a dead horse. twinking was a big part of wow but it has been dead and gone for years and years. when players had down time in between lockouts they would spend time gearing and optimizing their twink toons. it was fun and rewarding for everyone that did it.

it ruined a lot of low level battlegrounds for people just levelling. Again, this doesnt imply im saying people queued into battlegrounds TO level. A bit of reading comprehension will help here.
Ultimately it probably negatively impacted more people than it didnt. A single twink in a low level battleground could have ruined dozens of peoples experience by themselves in a single day.
Twinks are gone and good riddance.

this happened for a few months of wows 17 year life max. because for 1 you could not level in bgs when early twinking was a thing. then when you could level in bgs, every twink had their xp turned off. so i dont understand what you are angry about. anyway i got better things to do than to explain wow and twink history to you. later.

No, it’s because it isn’t fair. You are gong against players who are leveling and wont have the same gear as you.
Difference is at level 60 you don’t LEVEL anymore so you are able to get the most optimum gear.
I only twink when I get bored of new content and reroll and turn XP off to keep the fun alive
