Okay, so… This gets asked a lot. And people give answers that are wrong. Because nobody ever thinks this through. So I’ll do it for everyone. Here’s what would happen with account-wide rep. Let’s take ZM as an example. I take Brewa here to ZM and get 2100 rep from the intro questline. I get on my Druid and do the intro questline and he gets an additional 2100 rep, so both characters are now Friendly. I get on my Priest and do the intro questline and get another 2100 rep so all 3 character…

Why are reputations not account bound?

Seriously. People aren’t even asking for what they want. What everyone actually WANTS (I think…) is to not have to get Exalted with reps on multiple characters. And THAT is easy. We know that Blizzard can tie vendor items to achievements. So whenever something “Requires Exalted with ______”, just change it to “Requires Achivement: Exalted - ________”. That’s what people should be asking for.
