when it comes to that i believe that its some kind of grudge or something. hammer of wrath exist because pallys cried about not having a execute back in the day and then they got 1. theres a bunch more i just like that 1 the most cause it was still the early days of wow so it was hilarious

I would be happy if blizz would fix visage for when you use hover out of combat you don’t stay dragon. Ideally they should have made the dragon form be like DH demons and go right back to visage after the spell or soar is over.
I don’t mind the dragon form, it’s clear they designed the spells with it in mind. So, I’m fine with having to be a dracthyr and having to be in dragon-form to cast. Just makes sense. My only real complaint is the horrendous job they did on transmog.
First, allow seperate transmogs for visage and dracthyr. Second, add transmogs for dracthyr. You’re a multi-billion-dollar company, no one cares about your excuse of it taking time due to anatomy.

I mean I would love to be able to have an orc or even tauren visage form. Maybe with the only difference from regular races being that they have those dragon eye options (slitted/cross/glowing eyes). However, as much as I would love it, I predict that trying to code that would be some hella spaghetti.
Not really… they already have visage forms for other models that literally transform in game… Ebonhorn, Sabellian, etc… There really isn’t a reason that the visage form couldn’t have been any race other than sheer laziness.

Dragons may be able to choose their visage.
Dracthyr were given their visage by Neltharion.

Really dont like it when people go “but you are stuck to your one visage cause thats what was given to you”.
We also only had two spec to choose from at the start, then the lore evolved and we managed to get another one (You know, Augmentation, one which Neltharion did NOT want us to have). There is NO reason why we shouldnt be able to also evolve and chose a different visage form, even from a lore standpoint.
Its a moot argument people like to throw around cause they dont want other people to have nice things.

which isn’t true? Neltharion just used the black flight essence in the Dracthyr to keep that one dragon locked up. apparently after that the essence came back and we were able to utilize the black flight essence.
I know the models exist, that’s why I really would love it. I mean coding spaghetti as in trying to fit all those options in the character creation screen, making sure the options don’t bug out for the characters, etc…
npc models made to be 1 specific way and player models are not the same.
That’s a pretty silly take given that all of the other races already exist in the game. It’s not like there is coding needed for walking around as the other races. Don’t be daft.

It is true he didn’t want the Evokers to have access to powers of the Black Dragonflight his flight if it was just to contain and punish her make more sense to use the Bronze magic.
Because it is inherently a dracthyr class, both lore and fantasy of it are intrinsically intertwined with the race. IMO people who expect evokers to be available to other races are delusional, if that were the case we would have demon hunters for other races too.

I would rather have the Dracthyr transmogging crisis to be resolved first before any other pushes are made for other customization things (even if one of big requests just humanizes the race for the sake of relatability.)

Maybe try reading the whole thing and not just the like title they’re talking about Visage form not like playing another race with different racials in which case the answer is laziness like couldn’t even put in the effort to follow up the “hey maybe we’ll find an explanation for your hideous visage as we uncover more about your past”.
