"Why can't we attract new players to stay and play WoW?"

It’s remarkable the preconceived notions about what a new player can and should be and want are based on something other than the learning process that people who do not play videogames go through. We see the “new players who have never played an MMO before should be able to play competitively the day after they learn to move their characters across the screen”, and all I can think is that this is why Blizzard is ramming new players into end game so fast. It’s almost as though they think there is no learning curve involved, and the only thing that needs to happen is to level them so fast they can’t be mind controlled by Asmongold.

That kinda is how life goes for people sometimes  Not that I’m choosing a side in this one

Not only that, if a game is 18 YEARS OLD, I don’t need to know anything of what the OP is saying to presume I’ve already missed the boat on the “golden days” of that game.

doubt. Just looks like you’re high on copium

Is there an official dealer for this stuff so I can finally give a try once and for all? I’ve heard mixed reviews

That’s why dracthyr and this expansion has about the same amount of hype as a middle patch of FFXIV?

Oh I forgot these pixellated, low range, actually immobile casters with thin lanky weird models were meant to reel people in.

Sure, if you’re a bully and the favored demographic is bullies. Encouraging existing customers to kick new people when they’re down is truly a bad way to get and keep new customers. Is your fun worth it? You might think so, but Blizzard shouldn’t.

It’s really good stuff, once you’re on it you cant get off. See OP

I mean you’re also in the same guild that has had quite some controversies so I wouldn’t call me on copium

Ask how Brooklyn is doing after team 1 went on that one tirade on him.

Not shocking someone from that guild continues to spout nonsense.

What are the benefits of time gating items? And I mean player benefits, not stockholders and board members.

How would new players know what they missed?

I quite honestly don’t care if Blizzard starts handing out old/gated xmogs/mounts left and right. That’s not why I play the game. I was just poking fun at a bit of your statement :stuck_out_tongue:

idk I feel like they’d give me some diluted anime stuff :frowning:

Because when you walk around for a month and see stuff and get told “that’s not something you can have” you learn pretty fast?

Or are you going to say new players are quite literally blind, deaf dumb and stupid and don’t learn and notice things?

99% of new players in FFXIV quit before finishing the first town because that game is boring.

Imagine thinking I partake in guild drama. Maybe that’s what you do in FF14.

I also don’t pay attention to bads.

That’s some serious Motte and Bailey you’ve got going on there. The anecdote is the cherry on top. “I know this one guy, so it’s totally a serious thing!”

Oh yes I’m sure  You know what you all did.

Anyhow I have nothing more to say to the likes of you or anyone in that guild. Goodbye.

Sounds like you got removed for a good reason.

Maybe your FF14 community treats better for who you are

My Raid Leader in Castle Nathria, where we got CE, started playing in patch 8.3.

So much for your little theory.
