Please tell me you aren’t as obtuse as you come across. I read your post. It was crap and also meaningless. WTF was even the point? You just agreed with what I said.
I guess you were trying to imply that I wasn’t aware that content beyond LF whatevs is hard or something? You know… the content I never mentioned since my post was ABOUT LF stuff.
The game has had AI teammates before (in Legion, the Mage Tower, several artifact quests, and the Light’s Heart intro had sections where you had teammates that were NPCs).
I’d be down for it as a queue-shortening measure for Normal dungeons and LFR raids; after say 5 minutes of waiting the game could try adding 30% NPCs to the empty spots in the content; after 10 minutes 60%, and after 15 all remaining empty spots. That way DPS-only classes wouldn’t be sitting in a queue for two hours waiting to finish one quest.
As for the AI itself, it’s the most interesting an NPC has been in the game. While they’re certainly not clever like players, they have self-preservation motivation and their combat is more aggressive than NPCs seen in other content.
If Warfronts had roaming bands of these AI players, they’d be far more interesting.
You just seem to want to take offense at everything, it’s kind of funny. You talked about LFG content and I made a comment about LFG content (I wasn’t implying anything). It was a simple statement, it wasn’t even a negative one about you. You’ve taken it to offended heights that it never needed to go, lol.
I played several games vs this ai (i’m alliance) and all i could think was, this AI is terrible… this must be how it feels to be horde playing vs alliance players!
That said though… i actually queued up and played a battleground more this week than i have since BFA started. So, i hope blizz continues to improve the AI and put more of this kind of thing in. Even if at the very least, it serves as a training tool for people dipping their toe in the shark tank of pvp.
