Serious question, i decided to come back to cataclysm 2 days ago and i have noticed people dont want to buff thier group… i have also noticed a surplus of hunters who want to pull for the tank even when im already doing 3 to 5 groups at a time and DKs who want to sit in blood pressence even when asked to get out of it
If you think hunters are bad now…wait till barrage comes in MoP. IIRC its a mop talent anyway.
10/10 users of it will say they know how to use it right.
1/10 of them may actually use it right though.
I say that as former hunter main in retail. I didn’t even put it on the bar. It’s one of the fastest ways to pull in unneeded mobs blizzard ever invented. I didn’t even want to hit it on accident lol.

Hunter syndrome. Has been like that since 2004.
Because classic players are bad.
Yet retailers are the ones who need a one button “assistant”? 
The reality is that retail and classic have a lot of bad players and that’s ok. It’s okay to make mistakes and play imperfectly.
That’s not what ruins the game for most people. What ruins the game for most people are the “elites” who demand perfection.
Those guys are the ones driving everyone away.
It’s okay to play bad and laugh about it…it’s just a game

Oh yeah, I haven’t played an evoker so I always forget Aug is a thing.
believe it or not people who are disabled play this game and that one button assistant was put in for their benefit, it wasn’t put in so people could be lazy.
I’m definitely gonna use it to be lazy when leveling. I’m gonna sit on my couch and play it with a controller
Why can’t it be for both?

Not to say that people aren’t buffing their groups when they should, but it doesn’t help when the moment the instance begins the tank and rest of group start marching off to kill mobs not giving a second to eat a food or drink a potion or switch from your DPS spec to your heal or run to the restroom…

It’s not, they nerfed it into the ground.
They did the same with BDK in Emerald Nightmare but BDK is still a thing.
When I see that I go oh crap, there is maybe one of the kick spammers who has us on a clock in here.
Rush in and run those meters ups before voting begins lol. Minutes later going whoops, no buffs given. But I have the meters to reduce vote kick lol. So, all good there.
Honestly though playing retail up into shadow lands and various iterations of vanilla since…
Most wow players are just really really really bad gamers. That isn’t even necessarily on the players, themselves, either… The leveling process teaches players next to nothing about the game, and various queu for group functions more or less remove any and all accountability for failure. It’s always been a problem.
