Hi im trying to put (Someone) on my ignored list because he is a serious troll and just trolls any post possible. But his profile is private so there isnt a option to mute him forever. Is there a work around or is he just allowed to perma troll with no one able to mute him?

Are you reporting him as well. Fyi i would avoid calling him out not realy a good idea there are option to ignore him im sure someone will chime in.
I report him everytike he tries to troll and derail things. But like i said i click his profile to silence him and the option isnt there. If i could send a screen shot i would but his level of trolling is insanity how he hasnt been banned is beyond me but i just want to mute him forever so i dont have deal with him
Edit: only reason im using his name is because its his profile i am trying to mute but cant.
Right but thats considered harrassment i get it but still against the rules.

Click on your profile icon, then click on the profile icon > Preferences > Users. Under Users click Add and fill in the name, the duration and then click Ignore.

If itās that bad, you can submit a ticket and have it looked into. I had an issue with someone stalking me in the forums using alt characters to like my posts (extremely strange behavior) and some action was taken on it after filing a ticket.
Also, while I donāt know for certain, I like to imagine that these problems we have are being used as footnotes to develop the next major forum overhaul so we can better address the problems if not stop them altogether with new tools.

This was a while ago for me and I cannot find my ticket in my history but I probably clicked on āaccountā and then selected āNot listed hereā and explained my situation. There is no ticket category or option for reporting people on the forums, although there definitely should be, so the only option would seem to be the misc one.
I would also keep in mind that even if you get a ticket in, there is no guarantee that youāll get the result you want. If someone is stalking your forum posts, a GM/mod could just interpret that as someone exercising their ability to post in threads, so if there would likely have to be some unusual shenanigans going on, such as when one person was clearly using alternate characters to like-bomb my posts. They also mailed me in game, and on top of that, had tons of characters with absolutely disgusting and vulgar names.
Iām just giving you fair warning in the event that you continue to see this person posting. Your best option is to ignore them before anything.
You have been told many times, and even by a Blue poster here, that just because someone disagrees with you does not make it trolling or harassment. In fact, looking at your most recent responses, you seem to be the one with the trolling responses, by calling people negative and doing the whole āyouāre bad, but Iām not going to call you bad, because Iām going to appear to offer you the āhelpā I know you needā responses.
Putting someone else on ignore is a good idea, but these issues are going to continue to follow you if you donāt tone down your own responses.

there is a difference between disagreeing and trolling. He goes in to every post anyone makes and instently tries to start things. disagreeing is civil no this guy goes and bullies and harrasses people and tries to stir up drama.
Brother, you should remove the name before you get flagged.
