Why cant any LFR group defeat N'zoth?

Imagine being so angry about people who have zero impact on your life.

Live and let live brother.

Less than 5 times since wrath…

Really bad sample size, but I’m not going to force you into this. I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!

Less than five times in nyalotha

My statement stands. Really bad sample size. Fail groups exist, but I say you shouldn’t let it deter you. Have a good day. Im off.

This one group I just joined into said they have tried 16x LOL

Who’s angry? Lol, just my two cents.

Simply put, you wanna kill the boss? Do the “real” raid on normal.

LFR N’zoth is perfect as-is.

Not everyone can commit several consecutive hours of their day to play. LFR is great if you only have a little bit of time and want to do something resembling raiding. Zero hassle.

Do these people not deserve a chance to gear their characters?

If you’re playing WoW, and are unable to commit time to play, why play WoW at all?

You realize the whole point of an MMORPG is to dump time into it and build your character?

You won’t get far if you don’t have time.

That’s what mobile games are for, like Candy Crush. Gaming on the go.

You seemed to have missed the word consecutive.

Not everyone can sit down for hours every day to raid, but can log on for a few hours one or two days.

Do those people not deserve opportunities to gear their characters?

Because it requires people to do some of the mechanics and you need tanks who know the route to kite. This is why I laugh when people want harder versions of LFR (which first of all makes 0 sense since a harder version is simply normal mode) .

The design of the fight is contrary to the design of LFR. You have a fight which wants coordination in content that people run specifically because it’s meant to be very low stress for people who don’t want to focus on raiding or what organized raiding requires.

I don’t know, I’ve had some success in LFR groups. But maybe that’s because I tend to queue as a tank. Usually, people already split themselves between groups 1 3 5 for “bottom” and 2 4 (6) for “up”. Then since you need 4 tentacles for Psychus, you can reuse the same path for every LFR group in an easily understood fashion. After the Psychus phase, you use a raid warning to tell them to focus the tentacles before N’Zoth. Then it all comes down to keep telling the group to use their necklace before and after every portal, and to not move while channeling (with raid warning if necessary), and it usually doesn’t take too many tries that way.

Sometimes, it’s Fury of N’Zoth that takes more tries because people do not bother focusing the blisters. Most don’t understand that the boss takes more damage from mechanics that break his health (like the shield or tentacles) than just pure damage.

You don’t really need coordination more than any other LFR fight in the past, you just need people to press a button.

It’s like LFR ultraxion all over again. They just can’t seem to be able to push a button.

But that said, I’ve killed it every time i’ve bothered queueing.

One attempt I typed this dudes name all the way out several times to use his neck.

Nothing.

Maybe this is why most classes boil down to 3 buttons now! people can’t function with a 4th!

First kill took 3 groups and 4 wipes to complete. The kill group I joined as a healer right before the pull. They said new healer go with portal group. I knew where to go but their directions wouldnt have worked for someone who never saw it.

I flat out go in to groups saying " If you think getting 10 stacks of determination and not doing mechanics is going to kill N’zoth you may as well leave now"

Well LFR is literally where the less than the bottom of the barrel raiders go. You’re technically scraping at the wood hoping to find something somewhat acceptable.

Or where those of us that no longer like doing Normal and higher go .
