Why can we not reply in the Community Council?

Credit where it’s due too, most of the CC members will actively discuss it with you on GD if you can’t discuss it on the CC.

I’ve seen quite a few CC members respond to cross-linked posts.

Logically, “influencer” types already have an active and heard voice. Putting them on the CC would do nothing for Blizzard (assuming their intent with the CC is legit) AND would give tons more ammo to people who already believe it to be a farce and a PR stunt to begin with.

It’s got nothing to do with a different text color. It’s just about wanting to make the game better for all of us

I mean, this entire cc thing is a pr move, but wether it can be good pr or bad would be based on whom they choose to be on the cc. Putting influences as you said, would bring bad pr because they would be weighing in ppl with the loudest voice more then your average Joe’s like you and me. Either way, the cc is only as useful as an input device based in the content of it and if blizz actually takes the time to look into and reply on the suggestions placed into the cc forum.

This is their last chance to get even with everyone who disrespected them in the past. Unfortunately the players on the receiving end are the few who have stayed.

It is a scam to make players feel like they have some input.

That’s news to me. Where are the factions being removed?

Marketing gimmick, project managers and directors wont need to change direction if there’s zero issues from their “community” concerning issues.

They’re removing the faction divide for running instances. Immediately after announcing that, people asked for removing the faction divide in guilds. I have no doubt they’ll eventually do that, and once you start doing that, they’ll realize there are all kinds of situations that really make no sense unless you just remove the faction split.

True, i still have my doubts, CC worked for somethings, also Devs responded on GD, PTR more now, like love rocket was address on GD instead of CC Forums, however they need more people there. A lot of threads are dead, like professions and Alt friendly topics that were posted weeks or months ago.

I still waiting for a Q&A with Devs and council members or some other sort of activity…And CC just create a small sample which exclude a lot of ideas and concerns.

It’s weird because when you’re doing a some sort of questionnaire, a bigger sample it’s better, however Forums are not questionnaire , so i can see people just complaining a lot…still we need more members.

Instances that are formed using the group finder or from your friends’ list. No random or world instances will be included in this change, so it will mostly affect people who do mostly high level content that requires the use of the group finder.

Do you really want a bunch of pointless ****posting and arguing in the subforum that is supposed to not be like GD?

Which is the best thing that’s ever happened to this game. Sounds like a ringing endorsement to me.

yeah it’s mostly pointless. i’d like to play my kt shaman but atm i’m mostly doing world content with the wife and she mains a maghar priest. so this change did nothing to improve my situation at all.

The thing to do is link to the post whose content you want to discuss and start a thread about it here. You won’t have to do it very often, because most of what they’re talking about is also regularly discussed right here.

People have been asking for cross-faction play for many months. It’s not something originating in the CC forum.

I feel allowing players to do content cross faction to be a good thing as it represents the the story and how we’ve worked together numerous times. It’s also a nice way for people to be able to play with their friends. At some point, as heroes of Azeroth, you need to put some of the faction conflict aside. The part about removing the divide makes sense for guilds because very soon they will run into issues of guilds not being able to get credit for running dungeons/raids because they don’t have enough members in the group. I honestly don’t expect factions to ever be removed from the game. There’s a way to have faction pride without the conflict.

isn’t posting just to link/talk about another post not allowed? or is it okay to do it with this, but not generally speaking.

Maybe, but if the net result of the forum is to pick bad popular ideas and highlight them, the forum doesn’t need to exist, does it? That already happens pretty well here.

It’s wild to me how many CC members post a couple times and then like, never again. Some haven’t been seen since their introduction posts.

Blizzard had way too many pre-reqs on their applications, so this is what they got and I’m honestly not happy with most of the selections.
