Why aren't quests granting all transmogs?

I’ve noticed while questing in some old LK zones today in retail that they are only rewarding the appearances of your armor type. Let me guess… Blizz thinks we need to do loremaster on 4 different characters and armor types to collect all the mogs?

We’re also still working on the much-discussed update that makes it so that when quests are completed, all appearances from non-cosmetic item rewards will be granted, regardless of whether that particular class could have seen or chosen them. We plan for this to be retroactive, so any quests that you previously completed should grant all qualifying appearances when you first log onto any character. The intent here is to remove the need for completing these quests on multiple classes in order to collect all the appearances they provide.

I’m okay with loremaster on both factions, that makes sense but this is some BS. And you know it will probably get changed, because it was like that in TWW beta - and they aren’t going to reward the people who have already done it the appearances, they are going to expect people to do them again.

for any expansions before they started letting you learn all the armor rewards in a quest i suppose this is the case.

Because Blizzard changed their mind and are now saying that was only a bug on the beta and not intended, despite Morgan Day, a developer, saying otherwise.

They lied, took our money, and are now backtracking.

Blizzard has confirmed on the forums that quests rewarding only appearances your character can use is intended, and the beta behavior was likely a bug. They can’t be serious. This has to be ragebait. Right? Post was on the EU Forums.
