Why aren’t there more void elves?

Aesthetics aside, spatial rift is an awesome racial for PvP. Sure, human/orc is meta, but spatial rift let’s you pull off some dope plays. As a hunter, I like to disengage/spatial rift while fighting melee and then teleport as soon as they waste the gap closer. 9/10 times they have absolutely no idea what just happened and you have a 30-40 yard gap while they wait for cd’s

EDIT: The 3 min CD does take away some of its usefulness.

I’ve been seeing more female Void Elf Warlocks in recent weeks than I’m comfortable with.

That’s what I mean. For classes with limited mobility (locks, priests) it’s a pretty nice survival ability. Esp on maps like circle of blood

Half Price transmog is reason enough to be a Velf, though it must be tough when you could be a Dark Iron Dwarf instead.

tbh preternatural calm seems to be a hugeeee effective haste buff 1% less shadow damage too kinda nice

No, there’s a small quest then a short scenario.

The time-consuming part is the whole Argus questline, but you seem to have done that.

Prenatural calm is huge and why I play velf but void rift is decent too but not great

i know you’re talking about racials but i unlocked my void elf and played it once and then never again.

it makes me feel like i should be playing horde so it makes me feel like it’s pointless and doesn’t belong on alliance idk

I havent paid much attention to them until reading this post. that extra portal would make a nasty mobile lock

I found spatial rift to be next to useless. It does not move faster than walking speed and does not move you very far. the times where I juke one way and rift the other, I stay alive for about 3 more seconds.

As for the other racial, is spell knock back even an issue on retail? The racial would be OP in classic though.

spatial is sooo good. Can use it to get out of solar beams. go in for cc and TP out etc. Has its fun uses. Spell knock is not noticeable at all.

Val’kyr are mvp in the game for looks/body.
