Why are you removing Heirlooms xp bonus?

I spent thousands of gold on this armor and you are just removing the xp bonus. Can i get a refund for my gold?

Yeah this is a really bad change. I spent tens of thousands of gold on heirlooms for their XP increase, now all of that is meaningless.

Well yes, from that angle, but the cost to upgrade all that gear was astronomical.

Stupid change, I hope they give us all the gold back we spent on them. I know people that spent money on token to buy and upgrade that gear, they are gonna be mad that Blizzard took them away. That’s just wrong.

The exp buff isn’t really needed anymore. But they are replacing the stat with something else to keep their value, so wait and see what happens first before you riot.

Heirloom armor is more than just an xp buff. It’s so people can not have to worry about getting useful gear as they level up.

Seriously imagine going into a dungeon with only quest greens on. Pretty bad.

Oof. I just sunk a bunch of gold into heirlooms. That sucks. I guess I should try to get all my alts to 120 while I can.

I have to imagine it’s going to be part of the pre-patch for Shadowlands with the rest of the changes to leveling. That’s when those changes are usually implemented.

Welp, guess all that gold I spent on upgrading some of my heirlooms is wasted now. Guess I’ll just ignore the rest of them since the EXP bonus was literally the only reason I used them. Hope the devs reconsider this.

This kind of change would be pre-patch content, unrelated to the actual expansion. It’ll happen alongside the level squish.

Sounds good to me. Now dungeons and quests might drop actual upgrades we can use. Dungeons are a lot more fun when you’re running for loot rather than just xp, imo.
