I don’t mean to tell people how to play but there was someone complaining that he had over 100,000 echoes across 24 alts (lmao) and that Blizz is the worst because now he can’t buy his essences that you know, he was definitely going to buy any day now 
Why not just BUY them? What is the point of storing all of those echoes for this long? My question applies to anyone else complaining about the increase in price for essences, blizzard didn’t play you, you played yourself?

The echoes were intented to buy essences and some people decided to not buy essences.
Blizz didn’t do anything wrong here, players didn’t use their essence as intented and now the currency changed.
Some people also benefited from not using said essences. It was a gamble and they won.
On my main, i used all my essences to get all rank 3 from alts, and i’m happy I did now because i have a full purple section in my HoA.
Also the guy with 100k essences, why would you wait and stack more than 500. on my alts as soon as i hit 500 i go buy the essences because it is immediate upgrade…
It’s people literally just looking for stuff to complain about. Plus Blizz gave a warning. Some people will never be happy.
As paying customers they have every right to complain. If you want to accept mediocrity that’s your prerogative
You should just quit if you hate the game so much then. I will never understand why people who hate WoW continue to play it and complain 24/7.

Because it’s possible to like and dislike different parts of the game. People giving feedback about the parts they dislike doesn’t mean there are no parts that they do like.

There’s no way someone has 100,000 echoes over 24 characters unless they were multi boxing.
They do it because they know someone will care enough on the forums.
Multi boxers wouldn’t have this problem. They’d effectively have 24 mains, not getting the echoes. 24 alts are not the same…
So then why have 24 alts that can buy the essences but yet you don’t buy them for months until the prices are spiked??
what about people like me that had all of the essences prior to echoes coming out and being completely screwed over because i wasn’t able to collect them up until this change?
one of my friends went into this vendor release with 25k echoes multiple others had 18k+
i had 0 because i had a more “complete” character
See now that’s a problem to actually complain about. Not someone complaining that they can’t buy essences because they stupidly hoarded echoes of Ny’alotha.
Then those millions are the ones I don’t have to deal with when playing WoW since they probably didn’t put effort in progressing anyway, a great trade indeed
I didn’t even know echoes were a thing until yesterday. I have exactly 0 rank 3 essences on any toons.
I’m not even sure I can get them until I get a rank 3.
