Why are wow players such POS?

I am not the best player but I do try my best every game I never try and throw. I even do unrated bgs to practice but I still get disrespected if I mess up or underperform. Why can’t players just accept if you play with randoms not everyone is going to be the same skill level? why do they think being rude and toxic is going to make me play better? Do they get satisfaction from being an ahole? Then they have the audacity to try and mass report me, that is blatant bullying. It’s just not right. If youre reading this and youre one of those players then I ask you why do you do it? Why can’t you just lose a game and get over it? If were going to lose anyways then whats the point in being a dick? Like how am I suppose to get better at the game if I don’t play? If youre the type of player that is toxic then youre basically have the mind of a child because the only way for me to get better is to practice even if Im not that good yet.

The wow community is an absolute cesspool. Start advocating for more solo gear progression content. No one is going to be able to fix this community. It’s an absolute mess and has been for a very long time.

Gating the highest level gear behind having to deal with these people on a daily basis is bad design.

Esports in wow needs to go away as a gear progression model. Even if it’s progressing PVE gear through the PVP system. Get rid of it completely. Make it a novelty. Bring PVP grinds back for gear in epic BGs.

I doubt most BG players are even real people at this point and not just bots run by blizz to keep queues down.

I picture most are like this.

That’s what the alliance are like, sure. In our disc, we’re having a good ol time, lootin’ all yer balaognas.

You’re only throwing if you do it intentionally. Don’t let toxic players condition you into thinking even the smallest mistake is “throwing.” These sorts will barrage you with a myriad of deflective insults to compensate for their own misplays.

Ego.

See initial statement about deflective insults–they’re compensating, or desperately trying to.

There’s a stark difference between competitive banter and straight up flaming. Players who flame are the real “dogwater” members of any given team–try your best not to sweat it. You’ll exceed where they will stagnate in their muck.

I play a lot of BG’s and I have never ever come across a situation when someone has been mass reported for bad playing . For trolling yes, for abusive chat yes but ever ever for performance. There is something the OP is not saying

Last BG I played I was the only healer on the team it was not wg but the other capture the flag map i forgot the name and I was literally doing my best to keep everyone up and the flag carrier died and he said it was on me and when I told him no it wasnt he got even more mad and told people to report me bc I suck.

because there is no point to continue, faster to let the other team win and get another better team, that knows what to do.

players not killing healers, not going for flags… not defending, taking a nap while a rogue get a base right under their noses… when you have players like that no point teaching them… 100% will get offended if you tell them to get “battle ground enemies” addon.

you don’t waste words or time, let’s just get the next team and hope they are a little bit better.

the report system in wow, giving this to the players has created like 10000% more toxicity, before was so easy, just block the person…

is hard to admit fault. one healer in cf maps is a 10% of the team. rest need to kill their healer, interrupt CC etc… when you have people like you mention, just take a nap in the GY, faster to lose and get a smarter team that doesn’t get mad and knows what to do.

If they mass reported their only healer then they are next level dumb. They probably all got farmed in the GY after you left

Gearing in PVP for BiS has never been easier. That being said, the community is generally trash as you say. :heartpulse:

You just need to make better friends and do premade stuff. Most nice people have close friend groups they play with =)

You can join my bgs sometime, just play your own game and be friendly

Reply with your btag if you’re interested

I’ve seen it, usually directed at healers. “dO wE hAvE aNy HeAlErS” and then the dps open the scoreboard while they’re in the gy and go off about the healer getting outhealed by the enemy aff lock while ignoring the 4 fury warriors and assas rogue they’re not peeling off the poor healer that can’t play the game

Oh okay, i’ve seen that as a healer for sure. I guess I just didn’t realize that was what op was talking about. Maybe I ignore it more effectively. Dunno

I get triggered on behalf of smol healers on my team when douche dps type in chat “at least we have 1 healer” in reference to me being geared :rage:

I can’t imagine learning to heal as a new healer nowadays tbh
Get hunted in a warrior spear mid teamfight and just die and the negative damage fully geared dps on your team calling you trash for not healing him because you died

You make good points because unrated play is not really “ambitious” enough to worry too much about W’s and L’s. It’s better to win so you can be done with BGs faster. However, there’s a problem with people who “outgear” the content in their full CQ gear…
