Why are we still talking about rdf? Just implement this system already!

Ok so we’ll have a month or 2 of easy grouping and then fall back to the exact same spot we’re at now. And expecting blizzard to implement something when a problem arises quickly is ridiculous, such as mage boosting nerfs not being implented for 2 entire expansions. Plus no RDF does nothing to alleviate noneta specs from finding groups. The only people that no RDF actually helps is tanks and healers selling services. Personally I don’t see that as good social interaction.

Great points. Sadly, these RDF people either genuinely don’t understand these nuances or they are going to pretend not to understand them. I mean I hate to be so blunt but that’s how it is. Does RDF make the game unplayable? No, but it undermines the community. Yes, I’ll say it. I will talk about THE SERVER COMMUNITY. Because it actually does exist whether you acknowledge it or not. It’s not a joke. CLASSIC WoW was made for people who value this kind of stuff. And convenience features like RDF degrade the server community.

Are you talking about the server community of the game that you don’t play? Kind of boggles my mind as to how you know how these communities are and what’s best for the people in them when you don’t play the game?

The nuance that you and those like you are missing, is that your point is about a small sub-set of issues with this so called “community” you speak of, while you’re literally ignoring the more prevalent issues at large that having the RDF would solve.

All of this over DUNGEONS…not raids. Over a tool to help people group for DUNGEONS, to help them get to end game content with their guild faster. Or be able to get into pug groups faster

So, please, keep telling those of who want a QoL feature for the limited time we have to play in a day, that would help us get where we want to end up (because I know you won’t understand, I mean raids) and be social and contribute to our guilds faster, please tell us that we don’t understand the snicker Nuances of this issue.

Methinks the troll doth protest too much.

Ahh yes. Another RDF thread with the same circle jerk responses as all the other ones.

Ahh yes, another anti-lfd troll who’s nothing but rude and insulting. Amazing how it always works out that way.

Do you have a source for this or is this your opinion?

Very lazy and tired argument.

Regardless nothing you said changes the fact that people were able to level gear just fine before 3.3.0.

I was merely stating that your previous post was pure hyperbole. With or without RDF players will level and gear their characters, the sky is not falling. I appreciate you want RDF, I just think you do yourself and your point a disservice when you exaggerate to that extent.

According to you it is. According to the actual tbcc playerbase it is how things are.

I am pro RDF. How much weight do you hold again?

I played tbcc and it may be that way at the back half. If you are claiming its been that way since tbcc launched you are being dishonest.

Apparently people did just fine without dual spec before 3.1 and the tome of cold weather flying added in 3.2. Yet they’re both in at Classic’s launch, just like every single other system for the past three years.

Your argument has been disproven so many times it’s just ridiculous people keep spewing this nonsense.

Nothing you said disproves that people leveled and geared before RDF. You cannot be so over come with emotion that you are just denying facts now right?

The only point I’ve made in this thread is that the sky is not falling, folks have leveled and geared without RDF that is indisputable lol.

And like I said before, which you conveniently ignored. Blizzard has a track record of implementing changes to fix a problem (mage boosting) way later than it is actually needed. I’d rather RDF in at the start than RDF not implemented at all throughout the entirety of wrath because a few people think that not talking to anyone in a dungeon and afk flying towards the entrance is good social interaction.

Blizz wasnt joking when they gave that line of reasoning. I dont 100% believe them - there’s always two reasons with Blizz - the real one and the one they give you that they got a good cover for - but its not like they were just blatantly lying. I should state I dont think it was to sell boosts or any of the other talking points on the Pro RDF side of the ball. Ive speculated but I dont know. I can only work with what they tell me. Speculation gets us no where in a discussion.

Because that has nothing to do with anything. You keep referencing ‘it wasn’t added until 3.3’ when that is completely and utterly irrelevant. It has never mattered when a system was added. Blizz always used the last patch version in Classic, in TBC Classic, and in Wrath Classic…except dungeon finder.

Again, my point is people will be able to play the game just fine without it, we know this because we’ve done it before.

I 100% agree that Blizz is completely unresponsive to player needs and wants but that’s irrelevant to my point.

The game is playable without same faction BG’s but they were implemented to help people actually play the game…

I use the 3.3.0 as a reference to prove the point that players did just fine without RDF. I concede that Blizz is adding features from later patches from the beginning. But they have stated they are not adding RDF at all so that point is moot.
