"Why are undead night elves joining their killers?"

Because the only undead that actually have “Free will” are the original forsaken, everything Sylvanas turns now is brainwashed to follow her.

It’s pretty obvious by the complete 180’s alot of these characters take.

No amount of “Inner conflict” is going to make someone go from fighting to protect their homeland, to swapping sides after their enemy kills them and forcibly raises them to continue killing more people.

If your inner conflict was that bad, you would have been acting out, VERY LOUDLY and probably done more to voice your concerns.

It’s flat out brainwashing, and it’s really lazy at that.

I actually think that one video was he tells her they don’t have the troops is probably why they did not help. that just lazy and not be bothered by it.

There are so many gaping holes in this who expansion we can all agree it does not add up. it’s like 2+2= 52 story wise. You have allies right next to you. Whom you would thank they help and did not come. I can see if another side. Not ones right next door.

Then the whole Sylvannas story is just MOP all over. Look at lore session talks, Wowhead and other things. This is another horde rebellion all over. I do not believe there any redemption. I think they’re going to be a final epic battle where Sylvannas dies at the end. It probably going to be a civil war battle that she dies in. then alliance sneaks attack at the end as Sylvannas and troops are nearly wiped out by Suarfang troops. As Suarfang probably dead and Sylvannas is overrun by the alliance. Is going to end. Wowhead had a pretty exhaustive thing on sneak peeks.

Now for cannon. I just did a nice fun goblin leveling that area. Did you know that it, not a canon that shoots bullets? It’s a laser cannon. that a huge difference in firepower. Even you take that out. Still, have one ship full of magic wielders. Thrall seems to be doing dang good against ship last time. Imagine ship comes in an army of shamans or mages or locks or combination shooting spells off. If try fly away mages could port them into the ship. I think the ship could be done for. not sure if right. Still think that laser cannon would one shoot it, probably.

I mean why do forsaken stay with other forsaken instead of throwing themselves off of a cliff?
Why do Deathknights stay with Arthas even after the events of lights hope?
Why do blood elves join the horde?
Why do jedi join the sith?

I think we can all agree there is a certain level of mind control/persuasion with all of these examples. But another huge part of it is that sometimes you just are in a situation where the people you spent your whole life with have no place in it and cant help you. There are times when you realize in a lot of ways you and the enemy are the same. And sometimes you become so twisted you wouldn’t want to be around your home city and they wouldn’t want you around either.

There is a certain level of separatism there. Like every human deathknight in game was a hero of the alliance at some point. But the first time they enter stormwind they are pelted with trash and spit. It’s funny because it is in the race name itself and the nightelf dark ranger girl (I forget her name) says it herself. We are forsaken. Isn’t that the point of their name to begin with? Think about what they’re forsaken FROM.

Still personally don’t care about the darkshore story or tyrande or anything like that trust me. They could release night elf dark ranger as a class TOMORROW and you would still play it. I just think acting like “omg bros look at this EPIC comment blizzard didn’t even have the stones to answer it” is kinda dumb.

So a void Lord, that’s actually in this universe???

The void Lords can’t get here because they are in like a different realm, thats why the sent the old gods.

If Elune was a void Lord she would roflstomp everything. Sargeras tried to purge the universe rather than it be corrupted by the void lords

actually, she’s had the ability to mindcontrol people since WC3.

This is 100% straight up mind control dude.

People don’t die defending their homeland to the last breathe, then get raised and immediately start hunting their old allies.

This isn’t someone getting “Persuaded” to join the dark side. This is literally someone being cut down, fighting for their homeland, then immediately getting raised to murder the people they fought beside.

This is literally arthas level mind control over undead.

never disagreed with that I even said there is mind control involved

Don’t forget the lack of wild gods that would have been there if it wasn’t for Alex and Danuser. Also the bad writing part in which they claim the new raid is payback for teldrassil in an interview. Yet the nightelves would rather have help reclaiming darkshore and Tyrande clearly ask that of Anduin. Hack writers, no there not even writers , they can’t call themselves that. But fools instead.

Lets keep in mind that Sylvannas isn’t present when the nightelves are raised. Also being raised as forsaken frees you from mindcontrol and other effects. Will of the forsaken.

Ikr. Cenarius def. cares about Teldrassil since it is watched by his mom. Also all of the other wild gods that have helped in the past mysteriously weren’t there

I know and feel alliance pain. Never seen so many stuff just twisted around. The story if you want to call it that. Is just bad on both sides. It just some guy who has a low attention span. He does one thing get bored and do another in writing this stuff. If they continue on not even address some basic things. I think it times for a protest of some sort. The alliance we have 5 different stories and only one with an ending. horde we have 12 and no ending and many left out details. The problem is alliance have ones that drive me nuts. I can deal with the horde ones. I can not deal with all the dang blasted storylines, that jump around. My OCD can’t handle it.

I’;m to the point were I am hoping that Wow dies. Just so the characters can be saved for books. Instead of being used by these vile individuals danuser and alex.

Even ignoring the NE lore around Elune, this makes zero sense. In the Tides of Vengeance encounter between Nathanos and Tyrande, Tyrande seems to be trying to reach out to them to get them to join her “Sisters, fight the shadows…” She sounds like she’s asking them to help her and that she trusts them.

That whole scenario does make her seem like she’s okay with undead night elves, as long as they’re not, idk, killing night elves. Come home dead ones

Long answer Bitter self hate, Don’t really want to die,

Short answer: easy feeble mind to break

The young Delaryn could have this case made for her. Sira, however, is a Warden. I swear people don’t understand how dedicated to the kaldorei you have to be to become a Warden.

Well she did voice willing her doubts and I guess she as on breaking point, Then again I not the writer I Just making Guess, Also I Chose to spare her Because She stop hitting me SO I wanted to let her go but oh no…

I THINK they were trying to answer this without answering it with their conclusion “Some questions just can’t be answered because they’re spoilers”

The whole thing was them trying to say that they love WoW and its lore. I think that they know we don’t like it so far but they’re trying to say things will get better and bad things happen to build a story. We’ll see.

If I’m right, this is probably setting up dark rangers as the next hero class (Sorry Taliesin, I really wish it was Tinkers too. We already have undead, elf and edgy covered by the previous 2 hero classes).

You’re right. It should have been mentioned. Especially if that’s the most voted up question.

My own theory on the subject is, like Humans that are killed by the Forsaken, the fallen Night Elves kowtow to the will of Sylvanas.

no it doesn’t? Arthas seemed to have them pretty mind controlled.

gameplay racial =/= lore fact.
