"Why are undead night elves joining their killers?"

Same could be said, why did Cordana back in WoD so easily fall to the influence of the Legion if they’re so loyal?

The writers have a hard time tying loose storyline ends from previous expansions. Chalk it up to incompetence, sheer laziness or even indifference.

It would take a lot more enthusiasm than now to give a damn about synchronizing the books’ lore with the game’s. This is why they have stated that the happenings in the books may or may not actually take place in game, essentially a cop out.

How do you explain death knights, then? Nobody ever complained about this before?

The most horrible thing is, the rejection they get from their family and friends. The isolation, the loneliness. Some can do it alone and you see examples in-game and some choose to join Sylvanas.

A recent example of those is Zelling. Humans think that the dead are monsters but it’s clear that they are just like any others they have good and bad, you see it in Zelling loving and worrying about his family even as an Undead.

Literal fel mind control from a relic known to corrupt minds, as seen with Garona.

That was Fel magic its different then that of raising the dead. Fel corrupts what it touches. The dream is life , the valkyr are undead.

The dream can be corrupt as well. Just as it goes for the Light. Dare I say, Fel has good to it too.

Arthas had nerzuhls power at that time. Sylvannas lacks that aspect . Also the creation of deathknights for all races was probably the devs decision to not limit it to just human and elves.

All I’m getting from this is “just because,” and “rule of cool.”

“Hopefully we’ll answer more of your questions,” my rear; y’all answered none of them!

This entire subplot has never occurred in the story before.

The ONLY person capable of bringing back Night Elves at this level was the Lich King. A demigod of death. And he CONTROLLED them.

Sylvanus and the Forsaken NEVER had this ability before. They could only raise humans.

Now, all of a sudden, you’re popping up elves?!

Any half compitent writer will tell you that if you bring in something as game changing as this, you explain it, then explain it, and explain it AGAIN.

Assumptions and maybes, leaving your audience uninformed, is bad story telling.

There needs to be a petition sent to activision to replace danuser and alex .

Can you prove Sylvannas lacks that aspect? I mean It wasn’t even Sylvannas who raised them, it was literally Arthas’s valkyr.

To be quite honest, I don’t care how Sylvanas’ val’kyr are able to raise night elves. I care that these night elves are choosing to side with her and slaughter other elves en masse.
Does nobody else see that as the problem?

I’m going with Vol’jin. In later releases it will come out that Elune is the one that brought him back. Thus making all the Night Elves cry of Elune abandoned and betrayed me make sense. Why save a troll, but not them?

As to how, when it seems it couldn’t be done before? Pish-posh.

You haven’t looked deeper into the eyes…it’s not “void”, it’s actually blue…a moon. The black represents night time, the blue pupils represents the moon.

Because they know they’ll just be shunned and hunted down like humans did to forsaken. Night Elves will shun and hunt down forsaken Night Elves.

Edit: Look at Voss’ storyline. If Night Elves are keepers of the forest, they may see undead as corruption to their forest and remind them of the magic they abandoned. They would purge the corruption.

Arthas alone could bring back a ancient blue dragon, and he was weakened because the damage in the frozen throne.

sylvanus is not bringing then back, its the valkyr who are doing this, and they should have the power to do so, they, at we know, they could not bring back worgens, but they never said a thing about other races, And they brought back some high/blood elves, not that far from night elves.

And after the years, they could grow more stronger with the necromancy, who knows

Sounds just like what a void consumed night elf would try and peddle…

Two Night Elves die, become undead and then join their killers.

It makes sense now! This is the morally grey thing that Ion said the Alliance would do.

Nope, I was wrong. Its just plain stupid.

Except, we are totally cool with Death Knights, which are just Alliance members that were brought back from the dead.

There was no attempt whatsoever for the fallen Night Elves to see if they would be accepted, they just went, “Well golly, the Horde butchered my family and many innocent people, and they killed me, but gosh I love them now. FOR THE ALLIA-er, I mean, FOR THE HORDE!!!
